Hayden Panettiere: Hollywood Hero

The cheerleader's been saved and now she's ready to save the world. According to My Park Magazine of the UK, sexy heroes star Hayden Panettiere wants to be known as a true hero and doesn't want to end up like fellow Hollywood stars Britney Spears or Lindsay Lohan.

Hayden remarks:

"Being on a show called Heroes has opened my eyes to charity work and being a part of things like World Children's Day. In Japan, the dolphins were being slaughtered in front of us, and we were swimming in bloody water, and that was intense. I was really upset because I knew most would die, unfortunately, but I hope I saved others."

Hayden was also asked how it is she has managed to not stary down the typical path of many problematic Hollywood stars.

"They are doing what they're doing, and I'm doing what I'm doing. I am privileged to do what I love to do and I hope to stick around. I don't hope to go to rehab or get DUIs."

Hayden also noted she hopes the writers strike will end soon so that Heroes can get back on track and she can get back to work.
