NBC Heroes Season 3 Previews

A quick search on YouTube provides some great videos of the Heroes season 3 previews. This "Heroes Season 3 - The Primetime Preview" features a bunch of the various ads that have been running.

Season 3 is appropriately titled "Villains". As seen in the previews, Level 5 was a high-security level of The Company where Mr. Bennett aka HRG worked. In the ad, he informs Claire that this Level 5 business was going on before she was even born. The baddest of those with extraordinary powers were locked away on Level 5 to prevent them for causing mayhem in the everyday world. Well in Season 3, they are able to escape and unleash havoc. It's going to be a classic showdown of "Good vs. Evil" and we all get to choose sides!

Most importantly, Sylar's back to his old self. Last season he was simply a murderer on a mission, trying to get cured. As seen at the end of Season 2, he regained his powers. Don't forget he ate Candace's brain last season too, possibly giving him the power to change his look, and alter his surroundings. He could really do some damage with that one! E! News had kicked out the early spoiler that we will learn exactly what Sylar does with the brains in the first episode of Season 3...

Also of note from the preview, Claire donning a new hairstyle, black hair. Possibly she turns villain as she's shown pointing a gun at Peter and he's asking "what's happened to you?" It's also possible Sylar has disguised himself as one or the other. We also see the highly intelligent & somewhat "normal" Dr. Suresh holding a syringe which he states "can give powers to anyone". So possibly Suresh turns into a superhuman something this season.

The biggest questions going into this Season, are semi-answered in the video. Last season saw Nathan Petrelli take a gunshot to the chest, by a mysterious man, who may have been hired by Mrs. Petrelli (Angela). So that's the biggest question to come: Who shot Nathan, and was his own mother behind the shooting? There's also the question of whether Nikki played by Ali Larter, met her final destination in a burning building.

As for whether or not Nathan and Nikki lived, they are both shown in the various ads for Season 3. There was no sign of Elle, Monica or Micah..but you'd have to guess at least Micah will be back because even heroes need someone to fix their broken electronics. It's definitely shaping up to be a great Season 3 of Heroes on NBC! (Of course if you need a refresher you can pick up a copy of Heroes Season 2 at Amazon!
