Zach Rumours

A topic of hot debate on message forum posts and all throughout the Heroes communities has been the sexual orientation of Claire's good friend on the show, Zach. It appears now there has been a definitive answer. From AfterElton.com:

"An NBC publicist told AfterElton in a phone conversation that Zach "is not gay", that it was something that was "for sure" and "in all certainty." AfterElton contacted NBC for confirmation after being told by Thomas Dekker's management (Dekker plays Zach), the character of Zach is absolutely straight."

The idea was thrown out there for us on the episode where Jackie, the envious cheerleader called Zach gay in front of Claire. Claire then proceeded to knock Jackie down, not long before Sylar permanently did. It was hard for fans to decide whether Zach liked Claire as more than a friend or if he was not interested in girls.

Last we saw Zach, he doesn't even remember Claire as being a recent close friend. He believes the last she spoke to him was in 6th grade and that she's acting as if she's on drugs. It's unknown how much more of Zach we will see on the hit show, as he is rumoured to be moving on to a new TV role in a Terminator television series.
