Season 1: Episode 8 - "Seven Minutes to Midnight"

Another great episode of Heroes which aired 11/13/2006. This week offered us even more clues, connections and cliffhangers.

On this episode, Matt the mind-reading detective discovered that he and the suspect they capture who is full of radiation both have similar markings on their neck. They both blacked out one day and then woke up with their abilities.

Hiro and his friend are both in a diner and meet a young girl who has a "super powered" memory. She has learned some Japanese and becomes fond of Hiro. Sitting in the same diner is a dark faced man in a ball cap, with a broken watch. Later, the young girl is murdered in the back stock room, her head cut open. Hiro goes back in time to save her.

Meanwhile, Mr. Bennet, the horn-rimmed glasses agent/father of Claire (indestructible cheerleader), meets up with Isaak the painter of the future. Mr. Bennet asks Isaak to shoot up heroin again and finish the painting which has the cheerleader in it. Isaak doesnt want to go back to heroin, but Mr. Bennett's female assistant convinces him.

Mohinder Suresh has returned to India, he is there to spread his fathers ashes into the ocean. While there he begins to have strange visions of what appears as himself as a child. He sees his father's murder in a cab, by a man with a "broken watch". He then sees himself as a boy again, and the boy is holding a key. The same key Mohinder finds in a diary/notebook of his father. The key opens a special cabinet/safe with a folder hidden in it. The folder discusses a young boy with special powers. The same boy that was in Mohinder's dreams/flashback scenes.

Finally, Ted the guy full of radiation escapes FBI/police custody at the episode's end. Is he the one responsible for the huge explosion that is seen occurring in NYC in the painting of the future?

The trailers for the upcoming episode make it look great. Should be action packed. Sylar is after Claire in this episode apparently.. Tune in next time, it just keeps getting better.
