Heroes' Coming Back 4/23/07!

The countdown is on. The new episode of Heroes is almost 1 week away, and should provide another great thrill ride. We now have Sylar "killing" Peter Petrelli, Claire with her grandmother (mother of the Petrelli boys), HRG being held captive by his own people and Linderman about to drop the bomb on us with his revealed skill. (**Warning, here's a spoiler if you haven't seen the myspace Heroe's promo trailer, Linderman has the power of bringing things back to life)

The upcoming episode of Heroes will be called ".07%". Some things I'm expecting to happen (in upcoming shows), as we may or may not already know:

- Linderman reveals his plans to Nathan, and Claire learns what her grandmother has in store for her.

- HRG is gonna face some serious heat from his employers and most likely Matt Parkman who's also being held captive to let people know if someone is "telling the truth"

- Isaak is gonna die. Hiro saw it, we saw it, he was dead on the floor, head split open. This most likely means Sylar will be gaining the future painting powers. Now how sinister does that make him?

- Peter will live through Sylar trying to kill him. Peter has Claire's ability to regenerate. He also takes on the powers of those near to him (and those he remembers), and Sylar is near to him. Peter can do a host of things including turn invisible and use Sylar's own powers of telekinesis to throw objects around the room.

- The question is, will Mohinder be dead? Was he merely around to give us insight into his father's work and provide a list for Sylar to steal and other Heroes try to protect? This might be likely.

- Linderman's power mentioned above puts a serious twist on the show and basically allows the creators/writers to bring anyone back at any time. They can also use the new girl from HRG's agency to mimic other Heroes'. This makes it interesting in a Mystique/X-Men sorta way, where you're never gonna know who's who and when?

- According to another site's recent visit to the Wizard World Convention in Los Angeles, not everyone will make it to season 2. The question is how many wont make it and who? We know Isaac is probably one. You can speculate the rest, based on who seems to become less important to the plot/storyline.

- Final question: Is Micah going to play a bigger part in this story? His powers seem pretty useful for many things, but rarely used. If I were a writer for the show, I'd be dying to write that "top secret military base prison break" show, where a bunch of the Heroes' come together to break into a high security base and rescue someone or something. Wouldn't be surprised to see it in the future.

Set your TIVO's, DVR's or VCRs, Heroes returns to NBC on Monday, April 23, 2007 at 9PM EST.
