iTunes, Milk Ads & New Heroes

E Online has reported that NBC Universal has decided to no longer sell its various TV shows on iTunes, including Heroes. From E Online:

"NBC has decided against renewing its contract with Apple to sell downloads of its TV shows on iTunes after the companies were unable to reach an agreement on pricing, per the New York Times. The move won't have an immediate impact, as the network's current two-year deal extends through December. Among the most popular NBC shows currently sold through iTunes are Heroes, The Office and Battlestar Galactica."

Hayden Panettiere and Masi Oka will be appearing in Milk ads. Masi Oka's ad has already debuted in Marvel Comics September 1st. Hayden's ad debuts in the October issue of Alloy magazine which should be available on newsstands soon.

E! also had a small segment on its recent Entertainment highlights TV show which discussed Heroes. E highlighted the release of the new Heroes Season 1 DVD, and also discussed 2 new characters, one of which was Maya Herrera (Dania Ramírez). Heroes Wikipedia describes her as a Dominican who is on the run from the police. She has superhuman abilities, although they have not yet been revealed anywhere. However, on the E segment she claimed she is trying to come to grips with how to control her powers and said they involve her male counterpart being present. Could this be the Heroes answer to the Wonder Twins?
