Claire tells West it's a coincidence that her dad was the one who tried to abduct him and that she didn't tell him because she was scared. HRG and West take Elle away as a collateral captive. HRG handcuffs Elle to a chair, hoses her down with water and puts her feet in a bucket of water so her electrical powers shock her if she tries to use them. HRG talks to Elle about how she was brought into the Company as a child. HRG tells Elle he has kept Claire away from the Company because of how they operate. Bob takes blood from Claire and she pleads with him not to harm her father, HRG.

HRG sets up an exchange to give Elle back to Bob in exchange for Claire. The two walk past each other and give a look. Once Claire is safe, West takes her and starts to fly off. Elle shoots a lightning bolt up at them and the two crash to the ground in a heap. HRG then shoots Elle in the shoulder. HRG then heads over to Bob with his gun aimed. HRG says if he shoots Bob, the Company will disappear with him. Before he can shoot, Suresh blasts HRG with a gunshot to the eye, right through his glasses as the painting pictured.
