A Heroes Spinoff for 2007-08

From an Official NBC Press Release regarding the Fall 2007-08 TV Season:

NBC "BULKS UP" WITH 30 COMBINED HOURS OF 'HEROES' AND NEW SPIN-OFF 'ORIGINS,' 30 HALF-HOURS OF 'THE OFFICE' INCLUDING 5 ONE-HOUR EPISODES, AND 25 EPISODES OF 'MY NAME IS EARL'

"NBC was the first network to announce its fall schedule at the 2007 Upfronts this morning, and it started off with a shocker: A spinoff of "Heroes" called "Heroes: Origins" that will air when the original series is on hiatus and introduce characters not yet known to viewers."

The series will be 6 weeks or so and show heroes not involved with the bomb plot.
