AskMen Chooses Heroes Hotties

The free online men's magazine, Askmen.com, recently unveiled its list of "Top 99 Most Desirable Women for 2009". According to Askmen.com, the list is "compiled by AM readers and staff, ranking the famous females deemed to be the year's most alluring. Readers are asked to look beyond sex appeal and beauty to pick women who have the characteristics they value in a potential companion, like intelligence, humor, charisma, and ambition". AskMen's list included the likes of actresses, musicians, athletes and WWE Divas. Included amongst the list of sexy women were three actresses from the hit NBC series Heroes. Dania Ramirez (Maya), Hayden Panettiere (Claire), and Kristen Bell (Elle) all made it onto the list with Bell rating the highest at #9 overall.

Here's what Askmen.com had to say regarding each of the ladies, as well as a link to their page on the Top 99 List...

#63 Dania Ramirez

Askmen.com says: As Dania Ramirez has matured into a stunning young woman, she's also built up an impressive acting resume. Her biggest roles to date included recurring appearances on the final season of The Sopranos, and, more recently, the hit drama Heroes as well as three '08 films -- Ball Don't Lie, The Fifth Commandment and Quarantine. She also worked on another film in 2008, Brooklyn to Manhattan, a movie about a drug deal gone wrong that ends up causing the people involved to flee into the Brooklyn subway tunnels.

#41 Hayden Panettiere

Askmen.com says: Hayden Panettiere’s star-making role on Heroes took a dark turn this year after Claire was forced to shed her innocence and become a cold-hearted killer, a twist that allowed the actress to tap into other sides of her personality and effectively prove that she’s got the chops to tackle a variety of different characters. This versatility has certainly been reflected in her upcoming roles, as Hayden Panettiere has managed to land a series of increasingly high-profile gigs -- including the title character in the upcoming romantic comedy I Love You, Beth Cooper. Additionally, Hayden Panettiere was also named a successor to Fergie and Hilary Duff (among others) as the latest spokeswoman for the Candie’s fashion line.

#9 Kristen Bell

Askmen.com says: Though she’s been working steadily for almost a decade now (her filmography lists over 30 movies and television shows), Kristen Bell has only recently stepped into the public’s consciousness thanks to her work in several high-profile projects. Though she kicked off her stint on Heroes in 2007, Kristen Bell’s role as Elle Bishop grew increasingly prominent as the series progressed, and this, coupled with her scene-stealing work in the comedy hit Forgetting Sarah Marshall, was instrumental in her 2008 rise from anonymous starlet to bona fide “It” girl.
