After the lecture ends, a man in glasses who entered the lecture late, stops Suresh outside the room. The man claims he knows about Suresh's father and his sister, causing Suresh to push him up against a wall. He offers a job to Suresh, to which Suresh first says he's been down that road before. The man says if Suresh really wants to save the world, he'll let him buy him a drink and talk it over.

Suresh is at lunch with the man who came to him about working for the company. The man explains that the company tracks down those who have mutated, and tries to educate them on what they are capable of. He also says that sometimes they must make a decision to "eliminate" them for the greater good of humanity. The man explains that he has the funds needed for Suresh' research on the "virus" that killed his sister. Suresh says there is too much money needed. The man says it won't be a problem and holds up a spoon, then amazes Suresh as he turns it to gold.

Later on, Mohinder calls Bennett at home on a cell phone and tells him "they took the bait". Mr. Bennett tells Mohinder their plan is falling into place to take down the company, but warns Mohinder to be careful.

Alejandro and Maya

A male and female couple named Alejandro and Maya are shown running from the authorities in Honduras. They duck into a nearby door to hide and Alejandro says by Tuesday they will be in America to find the answers they need. He tells Maya he promised their mom he wouldn't let her down. The couple continues to run, and a poster in Spanish shows the couple is wanted for homicide. Maya and Alejandro meet up with a man who promises to get them to the border. They pay him upfront with him saying they pay the rest later. He asks if they are married and Alejandro remarks they are brother/sister. The man offering to drive says they can have a ride if Maya rides up front with him. Maya says "in your dreams", and the two climb into the back of the truck with several others who are fleeing.

In the back of the truck, Maya reads a book on Evolution, telling Alejandro there must be a cure for her. Her brother tells her what happened was not her fault, and that as long as he's with her, it won't happen again. The driver and his other men stop the truck and tell Alejandro and Maya to get out. They say the deal has changed and Maya must ride up front or they pay double. Alejandro tells him no then gets knocked down with a pistol and kicked. The men grab Maya who screams as they drive away with her, leaving Alejandro behind.

Alejandro ends up finding the truck that Maya was in, down the road and broken down. He runs up to the passenger door to find the driver and the other man both dead with visible wounds on their faces near their eyes. He then finds the passengers in the back of the truck also dead. Maya is sitting down crying and Alejandro tells her not to worry. He tells her they have to go to New York to find the doctor who can help her. Alejandro tells her they need to bury the bodies and they get in the truck to drive off.

Hiro Nakamura

Hiro Nakamura drops from the sky onto the ground, having just teleported to Outside Kyoto Japan in 1671. Samurai warriors face him on horseback and draw their arrows, with their leader yelling out Ready as they aim their bows towards the sky. An eclipse appears up in the sky with Hiro remarking "not again". The warriors fire their arrows into the air and they sail down towards Hiro. Hiro freezes time and moves away from the arrows and towards the main target of the warriors. Hiro walks up to the warrior with sword drawn on a horse. The man is still frozen and Hiro recognizes him as Takezo Kensei, legendary warrior. Hiro recognizes that the other warriors are attempting to kill Kensei, so he vows to save him, and teleports himself along Kensei and his horse away.

Hiro and the warrior Kensei land in a new spot. Kensei falls off his horse and Hiro exclaims "I did it!" Kensei draws his sword and asks Hiro how he got there. Hiro tells him he saved him because the Samurais were trying to kill him. The man remarks that the mony Kensei payed him isn't worth dying for, and takes off running. Hiro yells to him in Japanese asking where Kensei is. Just then a man comes up to Hiro with a crossbow aimed at him. He asks Hiro if he is a monk or doctor. Hiro says he knows all the stories about Kensei and even stole his sword. The man reveals himself to be Kensei, and takes off his mask, revealing that he is not Asian. Hiro is shocked as the man says in Japanese "my name is Kensei but no one has ever called me a hero before".

Hiro talks to Kensei about how he came from the future and Kensei's noble deeds become part of their history and legend. Hiro tells Kensei about the stories involving Kensei saving the village of Otsu. Hiro then asks Kensei if he smells smoke. Hiro sees a village with homes on fire in the distance, and Kensei tells him it is Otsu.

Just then a woman comes up to Kensei and slaps him saying they gave him all they had so he could protect their village, but now it's been burned down. The woman is named Yaeko and turns out to be the swordsmith's daughter from the Kensei story Hiro knows. The woman takes Hiro/Kensei's sword and says she will go save her father herself since Kensei won't. Hiro tells Kensei he has to go help the swordsmith's daugther and fulfill destiny. Just then lights come on, and a man in a suit walks up to Parkman, indicating it was a police test drill. The man later presents Parkman with a brand new NYPD badge.

She then shows Parkman a series of pictures Molly has drawn in class, with them having the Heroes helix symbol between two menacing eyes. The teacher says each day they get even worse.

Parkman confronts Molly at home about her dreams and what her teacher was concerned about. Molly becomes upset and yells at Parkman she doesn't want to talk about it.

Molly is having nightmares about whoever can see her. Parkman enters her room and is able to overhear her nightmares with a male voice saying "I Can See You". Molly wakes up and Parkman asks where this person is. Molly says she can't tell him because it's too dangerous and if he goes there he'll die.

Hiros' dad says for close to 30 years Hiro has been a disappointment, and it wasn't until his recent quest that he showed strength, courage and wisdom. Kaito says he is patient and can wait for his son's return. Hiro's father then goes to open the newspaper that Ando brought him. A photo of himself falls out of the paper with the Red Heroes helix symbol drawn over him. Hiro's father tells Ando in 24 hours he'll be dead.

Hiro's father is with Ando and tells him to leave because it is not safe for him. Ando says he will stay to protect him out of honor for Hiro. Hiro's dad tells Ando he will need to find him a sword to fight with. Ando turns to leave and sees Mrs. Petrelli there. Hiro's dad tells Ando it is ok. Mrs. Petrelli and Hiro's father are able to match the marked pictures they found earlier as cut from the same photo. Mr. Nakamura remarks how Linderman, Charles Deveaux and Mr. Petrelli are all dead leaving them as targets now. Mr. Nakamura discusses how he helped his son fulfill destiny and save the world, then asks Angela what she did for her son. Mrs Petrelli slaps him, and he tells her he is leaving for Japan tonight. Mr. Nakamura suggests that she disappear as well.

Later on, Kaito Nakamura is shown standing up on the pigeon coop roof outside of Isaac's loft. Mr. Nakamura hears someone there and calls out thinking its Ando. Just then a hooded figure appears. Mr. Nakamura looks at him and says "of all of them I would never have thought it would be you". The hooded figure walks towards him. Just then Ando arrives with a sword for Mr. Nakamura. Suddenly, the hooded figure rushes at Mr. Nakamura and the two plummet off the rooftop. Ando runs over and looks down to see Mr. Nakamura has splattered to the ground, dead.

Peter Petrelli

The scene cuts to a stormy and dark night at a boat dock in Cork, Ireland. Three Irish thugs emerge from a dark area and knock out a security guard. The one thug says "919" is the the cargo container they need to find, and remarks about there being iPods in there to take. The 3 men open the large storage container and find it empty, except for a man chained up in the corner. The man is revealed to be Peter Petrelli, handcuffed up. One of the thugs asks him what he's doing there and goes to hit Peter with an object. All of a sudden, Peter blasts a burst of energy from his hand at the man throwing him back. Peter looks at his hand amazed by what he did. Peter is shown to be wearing the Heroes helix symbol as a pendant around his neck. The head thug asks Peter who he is and what his name is. Peter responds with "I don't know, I dont know".
