Heroes May Finish 2nd Season Early

Movieweb.com is reporting that NBC's Heroes may be seeing a quicker finish to the Second season than originally anticipated.

"The second series of Heroes may be ending a lot sooner than anyone expected, as NBC and the series producers prepare for the upcoming Writer's Guild strike. TV Guide reveals that the show is going back and filming an alternate ending to the December 3 episode that would allow the episode to serve as a season finale.

The episode was originally to serve as the conclusion for the on-going "Generations" arc, and to set the stage for the remainder of the second season.

If the strike is averted, or ends quickly, the alternate ending would most likely be dumped and season two of Heroes would progress as originally planned."

Let's cross our fingers that this strike does not occur as it it has already shelfed the spinoff "Origins" and is now threatening to give us less episodes of the regular show! The good news is DVD sets almost always include deleted scenes, alternate endings and maybe now some extra episodes!
