Season 3: Episode 20: "Cold Snap"

The headhunter Emile Danko is at home shaving when all of a sudden his security alarm with voice starts alerting him the front door is open. Danko picks up his gun and cautiously goes out into the halls and main rooms, then finds Doyle is hung up from the ceiling, restrained, with a big red bow on. Doyle's unconscious but wakes up briefly. On him is a card that reads "My Gift to You".

In New York City, HRG catches a cab with Angela Petrelli in back. She says they can't be seen together anymore after this meeting. Angela talks about saving her sons, and tells HRG he needs to make Danko trust him. Angela suggests that HRG catch Rebel and turn Rebel over to Danko to gain his trust. HRG says she need may need Rebel, but Angela says she's resourceful and can survive without Rebel. She tells HRG he has 15 minutes to catch the next train to DC. Angela says she's heading out of twon before something bad happens.

Back at Building 26, Danko brings Suresh into a room full of individuals who are drugged up so they can't use their powers. Suresh finds Daphne in there and Danko says she's not doing well. Suresh demands to speak to Nathan because Daphne needs medical treatment. Danko smiles and tells Suresh Nathan flew away. Suddenly, a guard injects Suresh with something to knock him out. Danko says to hook him up and to make up a bed for Mrs. Strauss. Tracy is shown in her cell struggling with her chains.

Danko brings HRG into the room full of incapacitated heroes, and shows him Doyle, saying it's his gift to him. HRG says they've now tracked 2 messages from Rebel to Tracy Strauss. HRG suggests he may give him Rebel as a gift back. HRG suggests they let Rebel try to rescue Tracy Strauss. Danko is hesitant about letting a killer like Tracy loose, but HRG says if the plan fails he'll put a bullet in her himself. Danko agrees with it.

Hiro and Ando are with baby Matt Parkman in Los Angeles. Hiro tries to communicate with the baby thinking it's the adult Matt Parkman in a baby's body. Ando suggests maybe it's Matt Parkman's baby and says they were given this address. The baby turns on the big screen TV which shows Matt Parkman with explosives strapped to his chest in Washington DC. Hiro tells him no more TV and unplugs the set. Soon the TV is back on, but the plug is still unplugged, and they realize the baby has a power.

Angela Petrelli has a nightmarish vision in the back of the cab, that the driver is shot and some men take him out, to get to her. As she wakes suddenly she tells the driver not to stop, but they're in traffic. Suddenly the driver gets shot and a man pulls him out of the driver seat then smashes him onto the hood of the car. As they open the back door, Angela's gone. She finds a man using an umbrella in the rain and gets near him to make it look like she's part of a couple. Back at Building 26, Danko hears they lost Angela and suggests someone tipped her off. HRG says she's smart, but they'll track her cell phone to find her. Suddenly, the lights and power go out at Building 26. HRG suggests it's Rebel doing it to save Tracy.

With the power out, Tracy freezes her restraints and then breaks loose. She rushes down a hallway and gets into the room with the various incapacitated heroes, freeing Suresh and Parkman. Parkman goes over and grabs Daphne. Tracy says she'll only slow them down, and Parkman says then that's the way it will be. As Tracy takes off without them, she gets to a locked door and say she needs it open. Suddenly guards are on the other side of it. Parkman and Suresh arrive there as the door bursts open. Parkman uses mind control and makes the lead guard yell "All Clear", then has the guards rush by he, Suresh and Tracy so they can escape. Danko tells HRG this won't happen again and if Strauss leads him to Rebel to kill them both, saying it was self defense.

Tracy gets to a store to buy new clothes for herself. She asks a sales clerk to get her some different sizes as she's in the dressing room. When a knock comes at the door, she opens it and it's HRG. HRG tells her he can shoot her faster than she can use her ice power. He then questions her about who Rebel is, with Tracy saying she has no idea. HRG tells her to lead him to Rebel and he'll let her go. He says she won't have her old life back but will be on the outside. HRG says if she runs or kills him, there won't be another conversation, she'll be dead.

Matt and Suresh bring Daphne to a hospital. Suresh argues with Matt he has to be ready to move out of there. Parkman tells the lead doctor that Daphne (who he calls Janice), accidentally shot herself during a hunting trip. The doctor says they have to report it to the police as they rush Daphne to the ER. Matt uses his mental powers to make the doctor say it was clearly an accident and Matt should stick close as they try to operate on Daphne. Suresh shakes his head at Matt.

Ando and Hiro prepare to take the baby. The baby starts using its power to make various toys and electronics gadgets go off. Ando continues to tease Hiro that he must be afraid of the baby for some reason. Ando brings up Hiro's parents including his deceased mother. Hiro tells Ando about his time travelling back to see his mother die. A female shows up at the home and opens the closet where Ando and Hiro hide with the baby. She realizes they aren't from the babysitting service.

As Tracy's walking on the DC streets an ATM message starts speaking to her, saying Tracy Strauss can get free banking. She walks over to the machine which spits out some cash for her and a receipt that tells her to go to Locker 413 at Union Station for ID and a boarding pass. As Tracy hails a cab and gets in it pulls away. A young boy is shown who also calls for a cab and as he turns his head, it's Micah Sanders, who now has a more masculine voice.

Angela meets with an old female acquaintance from her past at a restaurant. The woman says she was detained earlier by agents who were asking about people she knew. Angela tells the woman she needs her help, but apparently there is an issue between them from the past. The woman brings up Angela having problems ever since Arthur died, and Angela says she's dug her sons a big hole and wants to get them out. The woman eventually gives Angela everything she has in her pocketbook for money.

Parkman's ex-wife and his baby's current mother talks with Ando and Hiro. She tells them her husband is a terrorist and that she knows her baby has an ability. They say the government is rounding up people with abilities such as Ando, and they made Matt look dangerous to prove their point. Just then a knock comes at the door. Ando and Hiro hide with the baby while Janice talks to the agents. They have a warrant to bring her and her baby in for questioning. She tells them she'll take them to where the baby is at the babysitter's. Suddenly the agents grab her and send more agents in to search the home. Ando and Hiro try to get away but become trapped in a room. As the door opens, Ando blasts a charge of energey from his palms sending agents back. Another agent prepares to shoot while Hiro has baby Parkman in his arms. Suddenly, time stops except for Hiro and the baby. Hiro realizes the baby touched him and made his power work. Only problem is, Hiro can't use teleportation. Hiro ends up grabbing a wheelbarrow to get Ando out of their with the baby.

Daphne wakes up in a hospital room surrounded by tons of balloons and gifts wishing her to Get Well. She notices one envelope has "Get Well Gwen". Matt's in the room and wakes up from a nap. Daphne realizes he convinced staff mentally that she was Gwen Stefani. Daphne gets out of bed and begins telling Matt he can't believe they have to be together based on a dream he had. Matt says it was a spirit walk. Daphne gets dressed and says she has to go, and that it was nice meeting Matt. She kisses her hand and presses it on Matt's cheek, then rushes off.

At the DC train station, Tracy Strauss finds the locker Rebel told her to go to. Inside is a boarding pass. Suddenly, Micah is next to her and says he's sitting next to her. He lets her know that he is "Rebel". Tracy is shocked at this and then tells him that she lead the agents to him. Micah's disappointed but planned on them coming after him. He uses an electronics device to set off an alarm saying there's a gas leak at the train station. He and Tracy slip through a side door to another area.

Angela Petrelli is walking down the streets when suddenly she spots several agents in suits walking in her direction. She turns to go the other way, but there's more agents coming at her. Angela heads into an upscale hotel building and rushes towards an elevator. Agents draw their guns and chase after her but she manages to get into the elevator and shut the door. As she starts to ascend in the elevator, a van pulls up outside the hotel and even more armed troops get out to storm into the lobby. Some agents get into the elevator wiring and stop the elevator then start to bring it back to the lobby. Suddenly, Angela hears a loud thud on top of the elevator. As the agents wait outside the elevator for the door to open, they see Peter Petrelli holding Angela when the door opens. Suddenly after a quick smile, Peter holds Angela and flies straight up into the shaft.

Micah and Tracy head out through the parking garage. Micah gets on Tracy's case saying he read her bio and she doesn't seem like the person who got into politics to protect civil liberties. Tracy tells him she's nothing like his mother, and Micah agrees saying his mother was the everyday American, a true hero. Suddenly they hear car tires screeching to a halt. They duck behind a car realizing agents are after them. Tracy suggests to Micah to make the sprinkler system go off, so he does. The sprinklers begin pouring out water as the agents move in. Tracy tells Micah to find a way out, even though he begs her to come along. She tells him to keep doing what he's doing as Rebel, then urges him to stay ahead of the ice. Micah takes off running as Tracy walks out towards the agents. With agents surrounding her she suddenly unleashes her freezing ability, freezing the immediate vicinity including the agents, their guns and the floor and ceiling. Micah escapes out a back door and down a hallway. With everyone frozen including Tracy, Danko comes walking onto the scene. He walks right up to Tracy, holds a gun to her and fires at her chest. She breaks apart into pieces, shattering down. HRG comes up saying he couldn't find Rebel anywhere. Danko leaves as HRG shakes his head about Tracy. Part of Tracy's frozen face shows her eyes with one seeming to wink.

Hiro wheels Ando to a spot outside with the baby, with time still frozen. He spots a woman holding a baby with a bottle and takes the bottle to give baby Parkman. He begins to tell the baby he will be safe and to be brave when time starts again. Hiro stands up and releases the stop on time. Ando suddenly springs up yelling for Hiro to run. Hiro tells him the baby used "touch and go" to start his power up. Ando asks if they teleported but Hiro says not all powers worked. Hiro tells Ando now they need to go save big Matt Parkman.

Daphne is shown sitting up on a sign on a building overlooking city lights at night. Matt Parkman shows up on the rooftop and she is amazed how he got there so fast. He tells her he knows she loves Paris, so he flew. Matt reveals he has the ability to fly. Daphne says she got there so fast by running on water. Matt has Daphne step on his shoes so he can fly up and show her the view of Paris while they have a romantic talk. Daphne tells Matt to let her go at one point. She says she knows they're still in the hospital room and he's inside her head trying to give her a storybook ending. He says he just wanted to make her happy. Daphne tells Matt he deserves the real thing, then asks him to fly her to the moon as a final wish. In the hospital room, Daphne's heartrate monitor flatlines. Matt is seated by her side along with Suresh who puts a hand on Matt's back.

Heroes closes with Peter and Angela up in the crown of the Statue of Liberty. Peter asks Angela what she wants to do now. To be continued...

Season 3: Episode 17: "Cold Wars"

Season 3: Episode 17: "Cold Wars"

In Costa Verde, Parkman, Suresh and Peter Petrelli convene and discuss how they will go about interrogating Noah Bennet. Peter brings a drug to knockout HRG, because Matt says simply reading his mind won't work, since HRG is trained. Suresh and Peter debate the idea of kidnapping and drugging people but Matt reminds them these people turned them all into fugitives who are being hunted. A replay is shown of HRG at the bar passing out, with Suresh, Peter and Parkman coming over to "assist their friend in leaving". We return to present day where HRG is tied up in a chair, drugged, and Parkman enters his mind.

The flashback in Black and White goes back five weeks ago with HRG. HRG meets with Angela Bennet on a bench to discuss the work they have left to do now that Primatech has burned down. Angela hands HRG an envelope containing payout for his years of service, as well as a watch. Angela says she's tired of the years of lies and stress, then tells HRG to go home and take Claire. HRG says this is all he's ever known. Angela tells him to take care of Claire and himself. Parkman comes out of the flashback in HRG's memory and tells Suresh and Petrelli they're going to find out exactly who's responsible for all this and he will keep pushing as far as he needs to.

Back at Building 26, the Hunter tells Nathan that Noah Bennet is off their tracking grid. Nathan asks about Claire, and the head hunter says due to the fact he and HRG are allowing Claire to be free from the list, they're both tarnished. The Hunter reveals to Nathan he's spying on him as well.

Suresh argues about Matt causing pain to HRG by digging in his brain. Suresh tells Matt he's better than HRG, but Matt says they know nothing and need to know everything they can about the operations. Matt goes back inside HRG's head to find out how the whole thing started. Four weeks ago, HRG is at home doing a crossword puzzle, when Sandra comes in and tells them they're going to dinner with parents of Lyle's friends. Sandra kisses HRG tells him it's nice having him around. Just then a knock comes at the door and it's Nathan Petrelli. HRG thinks he's there for Claire, but instead Nathan talks to him privately in his office. Nathan says he set some things in motion, but that Claire will be safe. Nathan informs him that the US Government has the resources to fix the problem of those with abilities. Nathan says there will be exceptions to those that are hunted down, possibly Claire if HRG is on board for this. HRG tells Nathan he will be seen as a villain, especially by Claire. Nathan says he just wants to make things right, then asks HRG for his insight on how he tracked these people for 20 years. HRG brings Nathan to a secret locked area containing files and weapons from the last 20 years of his life. HRG says the government needs perspective on how to track these people, and there's only so many crossword puzzles they can do.

Matt Parkman snaps out of Bennet's memory and tells Suresh & Peter that HRG and Nathan planned all of this. Suresh and Parkman begin to argue over what Parkman's doing. Peter yells at them to stop. Matt orders Peter to go pickup weapons at Bennet's storage area which he found out about in HRG's memory. Peter takes the address with lock combo and says he'll go instead. HRG seems to be awake overhearing the arguing, then pretends he's out. Peter heads to weapons storage area and begins to grab various weapons, but there's a video camera capturing his moves. Back at Building 26 an agent spots Peter and informs the Hunter. The Hunter informs Nathan they found Peter, with Nathan inquiring how Peter knew about the storage facility. Nathan instructs the Hunter to take Peter alive with no bloodshed, despite the fact Peter is in a weapons storage facility. Just then, they lose their visual coverage. Armed soldiers storm the facility to find Peter. They open the door, with Peter tossing a flash grenade out at the soldiers. As the grenade goes off, Peter flies straight out the door and out of the facility.

Meanwhile, HRG has come to and tells Parkman and Suresh that Peter is either captured or dead. He tells Suresh that he knows the weapons storage spot is under surveillance. Matt says he needs more info about who else Nathan and HRG is working with, so he enters HRG's head again. We flash back to a meeting at Building 26, where Nathan introduces HRG to the Hunter. HRG discusses the concept of having "one of us, one of them" when working on things, but the Hunter says he prefers "none of them" because it's about trust with "us versus them". HRG tells the Hunter for 20 years he was successful making sure people like the Hunter didn't know the people with abilities even existed. The Hunter tells HRG not to presume anything about him. HRG questions Nathan as to why he's not in charge of things and Nathan tells him things became more serious.

In the B&W flashback, HRG is shown getting into a cab driven by Suresh. HRG tells Suresh that something big is happening and he needs his help. HRG tells Suresh there's a government program which is going to blow up in their face. HRG says with Mohinder's brain and strength they can help people and save lives. Suddenly, Matt comes out of HRG's memories and begins to confront Suresh about meeting with HRG. The two get into a physical altercation, with Suresh tossing Matt around and smashing a mirror. As they fight out of the main room, HRG spots a shard of glass. Suresh tells Matt he couldn't tell him about his meeting with HRG because if he did he might be the one tied up in the chair right now. Just then as glance look over the chair is empty with the door open as HRG has escaped.

Parkman and Suresh rush outside of their motel room frantically looking for HRG in the dark parking lot. HRG hides behind the front of a car, then goes over and breaks its antenna off. HRG uses the antenna to open the door lock, then gets in to attempt to hotwire it. Just then something smashes down on the hood causing the windshield to shatter a bit. Peter Petrelli has landed on the car, and then are able to restrain HRG again, this time with duck tape. Peter suggest that maybe they should hit the road as the soldiers found him already. Suresh agrees but Matt says he gets no vote, then informs Peter that Suresh met with HRG before. Suresh says he didn't tell them because who would believe him after all he's done. Matt again goes back into HRG's brain to find out the name of the person HRG is taking orders from.

The flashback goes to one week ago. HRG stops by the Hunter's apartment with a bottle of liquor and offers a drink. HRG says they need to understand where each other are coming from. The Hunter says he knows what HRG is up to because he's concerned about Claire. The Hunter says HRG danced between Company Man and Family Man way too much. The Hunter says they will need to focus to win this war for good. HRG says he read the Hunter's files too and realizes he takes his work everywhere and might think he's perfect. HRG says he needs to realize these are people not terrorists they're going after. Danko asks if HRG will take orders from him, and HRG tells him "you're the boss". Matt writes down the apartment address that HRG went to when he met Danko. He gives it to Peter to go find him. HRG urges them not to go after Danko saying it's a big mistake and he's unraveling things he doesn't understand. Despite HRG's protests, Peter heads out. Just then, several SUV's pull up outside the motel and armed soldiers get out.

Danko arrives back to his apartment and calls in orders for backup. As he's switching on his surveillance monitors, Peter is shown standing behind him, aiming a gun right at him. Back at Building 26, an agent alerts Nathan of the incident. Peter asks Danko if he's the one behind all this. Danko begins to try to manipulate Peter and puts his head up against the gun telling Peter to get his mission over with. Danko reminds Peter he broke into his home and now has a gun pointed at him. Danko says if Peter kills him, he'll get exactly what he wants, for everyone to see how dangerous they are. Just then Nathan appears, and tells Peter that Danko's right. Danko gets suspicious of how Nathan got to the apartment so quickly. Nathan tells Peter to trust him so he can fix things, but Peter yells at him to shutup and then shoots Danko in the arm. Nathan says if Peter pulls the trigger and kills Danko, it'll give the government open command to kill those with abilities rather than contain them. He tells Peter that if he shoots Danko he'll be signing Parkman and Suresh's death warrant. Peter backs off then flies out the window to go save them. Danko asks Nathan why he told Peter about troops descending where Parkman and Suresh were. Nathan tells him he just saved his life. Danko screams on the phone for the troops to take Parkman and Suresh immediately.

The soldiers begin breaking into motel rooms with their rifles ready. Suresh tells Matt they should hit the road while they can. Matt cocks a pistol and points it right at HRG getting angry over HRG's involvement. HRG reveals to him that Daphne's still alive. He tells Matt to go inside his mind if he doesn't believe him. Suresh tells Matt to do so and he'll hold off the soldiers. Matt goes back into HRG's mind and sees several days ago where HRG and The Head Hunter found out that one of the people shot was still alive. Daphne is shown on a gurney screaming in pain from the gunshot wounds. HRG rushes over and tells them to use three times the normal amount of sedatives on her to keep her down. Matt comes back out of HRG's memories shocked at the revelation.

Meanwhile, outside the motel room Suresh tries to distract the soldiers but eventually they are too much for him and hit him with tranquilizers. Suresh falls onto the pavement and the soldiers surround him. Back in the room, HRG reminds Matt that he isn't a killer and things will only get worse. Just then the door bursts open and soldiers enter with their rifles aimed at Parkman. He finally lowers the gun and surrenders. HRG yells for them not to hurt him. He asks to walk Parkman out after he's been subdued. As they're walking towards the parking lot all of a sudden a grenade is thrown and rolls near their feet. A bright flash goes off, and Peter flies in to scoop up Parkman and fly off.

Back in building 26, Suresh is restrained. Nathan enters the cell and someone throws water on Suresh to wake him up. Nathan tells Suresh that he's trying to save them, contain them instead of kill them. Suresh laughs at his plan to round them up and keep them forever. Nathan asks for Suresh's assistance with Suresh saying he won't help. Nathan shows Suresh that Daphne's still alive, but says his associates will probably kill her, then Suresh, then Peter, Matt and the rest. Suresh seems swayed a bit as Nathan leaves the cell.

HRG meets with Danko who tells him to take some time off. HRG says Danko was right before saying he was weak with his focus. Danko says he believes Nathan was off track before but that maybe the two of them can pull this together. HRG says he agrees and just then Danko gets into a car to take off. HRG meets with Angela Bennet again at a Park Bench nearby. HRG tells her that he thinks Danko trusts him. Angela says Danko will continue to test him. HRG tells Angela that Danko and Nathan don't know what's going on. Angela tells HRG he'll have to make tough choices and HRG says he's always been comfortable with "morally gray", then leaves his watch gift on the bench.

The scene shifts to Matt Parkman feverishly creating paintings in a loft apartment with Peter watching. The paintings reveal sticks of dynamite including some strapped around Matt. Matt becomes upset over the images asking Peter how this could be. Peter tells him he's not a killer, but then a huge painting on the floor reveals flames and fire around Washington DC. Season 3: Episode 312: "Our Father"

nbc heroes season 3 episode 12 our father

Season 3: Episode 12 - "Our Father"

The episode opens back in the past, with HRG meeting Kaito Nakamura outside near the greenhouse. Hiro and Claire, present day versions, watch from a nearby glass door as Kaito hands baby Claire to HRG to take under his care. Claire tries to ask Hiro what's going on but realizes he speaks no English. Just then, Kaito tells young Hiro to go see his mommy. Present day Hiro hears that his mother is present and rushes into another room to spy on her talking to his younger self. Claire follows along, not knowing what to do. The two peer out from behind a door to see what's going on.

In the room, Kaito warns young Hiro to take it easy because his mother is ill. Kaito talks to her in English so young Hiro won't understand what they say. Hiro's mother tells Kaito she is dying fast and thinks it will happen tonight. Hiro's mom says they must make arrangements for the catalyst before it's lost forever. Kaito says he will ask Noah to bring baby Claire back for the catalyst. Hiro's mother says she wanted to keep it in the family, but Kaito strongly disagrees. Just then Kaito walks out of the room. Young Hiro sees a dove/bird in its cage die suddenly. He takes it out of the cage and hands it to his mother. She heals the bird back to life before young Hiro and the present day heroes' eyes. Claire & Hiro both realize what they must do now. Claire says she must find the baby version of herself and make sure they can't inject it with the catalyst. She tells Hiro she'll be back tonight and takes off. Just then, Kaito walks in and thinks present day Hiro is their new chef, and orders him to get to work at once.

In Costa Verde, California, Sylar is still on the beach and receives a call from Arthur Petrelli asking where he is with Claire. Sylar says he won't be helping him anymore since Bennet told him the truth, that Arthur's not his father. Sylar informs Arthur he has a whole new list of numbers and info on heroes to go talk to now. Sylar looks at Elle's cell phone listings. Arthur urges Sylar to come see him, and Sylar says he will eventually. As Sylar hangs up, the camera pans to Elle's dead body laying beside Sylar. Sylar pours lighting fluid over her body then uses his new power of electricity to light her on fire.

At Primatech, Angela Petrelli talks with the Haitian and Peter. Angela instructs Peter to shoot Arthur once in the back of the head. Peter seems hesitant about it, but Angela reassures him that he would kill Peter if the tables were turned. Haitian says Arthur is far too powerful, so he will accompany Peter to help neutralize him. Peter picks up the gun.

Nathan arrives at Pinehearst to talk with Arthur, then sees Tracy Strauss in his office. Nathan tells Arthur he wants to completely take over Pinehearst to lead the way. Arthur tells Nathan that he made him. Nathan says he wouldn't have made him if he didn't need him. Tracy says Senator Petrelli has the authority and would make a better face for Pinehearst. Nathan confronts Tracy during briefing on Pinehearst. Tracy says she's on his side and was helping him secure this position. Knox and Flint are shown waiting in the hall. Tracy brings Nathan into a room full of Marine soldiers performing actions in unison.

Present day Claire arrives at the Bennet apartment 16 years ago. Sandra is trying to bring packages in along with the baby, Claire. Present day Claire rushes over to help her and introduces herself as Bonnie, a next door neighbor staying with the Monacos. Claire helps her inside and then helps her with the baby. Sandra thanks her for her help. Claire asks Sandra if her husband is any good with kids. Sandra says not really, he does a lot of work, but just received a promotion. Sandra says she's only known the baby a few hours and she loves her already. Sandra says she plans to watch the baby like a hawk.

At Sue Landers' office, present day, Sue is celebrating her birthday. Sue enters her office and a delivery man is there with a package. Sue has the ability to know if someone tells the truth or not and realizes the man is lying. Sylar uses his abilities to shut the door and fling Sue against a wall. He tells her not to panic, it won't hurt a bit, then says "Gotcha, that was a lie". Sylar kills Sue, leaving her on the floor just as 3 coworkers burst in yelling "Happy Birthday!" They see Sylar with his hands covered in blood and the door slams shut.

Nathan talks to one of the Marines regarding the experimental drug they will use on him. Nathan says it will change his life forever. The man tells Nathan he did 2 tours in Iraq, and on his last mission an RPG took out the Hum-V he was in. The man says 12 soldiers went in and only 2 came out. All of this prompted him to want to be more than human so he could save lives.

Daphne speeds Matt and Ando to a messenger office center in Manhattan. Ando exclaims he likes teleporting better as it's less windy. Parkman asks the man in charge for a receipt for Isaac Mendez' delivery last year. The man tries to play it off as he doesn't know, until Parkman reads into his thoughts and finds out he knows about Isaac's sketches. Parkman tells the man he knows he's been skimming off the top too. The man agrees to go get the sketches from a back room. As Parkman, Daphne and Ando are chatting, all of a sudden Parkman sees out a window that the man has taken off by bicycle with the sketch books. Daphne speeds off and gets in front of him in busy traffic. The man crashes into a taxi cab and flies over the car into the street. Daphne walks over to him to get the book.

Back 16 years ago, present day Hiro is trying to cook up Mrs. Nakamura's last meal at the Nakamura household. Kaito and Hiro's mother continue discussing giving the catalyst to Hiro. Kaito says Hiro is irresponsible and just likes comic books, but his mother interjects saying he's just a kid. Just then young Hiro comes over to present day Hiro and says "maybe he's right". Both Hiro's adjust their glasses and hang their heads in a depressed slump.

HRG arrives home to find a stranger watching their new baby. He asks who she is and Claire tells him the Monaco's niece. Sandra walks in and introduces her to HRG. HRG is suspicious and brings Sandra aside to chat. He walks back in and tells Claire the Monaco's don't have a niece. HRG demands that the girl tell him who she is and why she's there.

Claire tells HRG she's there to help protect the baby. Claire tells HRG she knows what he's thinking about being scared and not knowing if the Company will take the baby any minute. HRG asks if she's a mind reader. The phone starts to ring and Claire tells him not to answer it because it's the Company. Claire says they want to take the baby again for a minute to do something to it that will change it forever. Claire tells him that everything will be fine with he and "Claire bear". HRG doesn't answer the call and smiles responding "Claire bear huh?"

Sixteen years ago still, present Hiro brings a food tray to his mother. He tells her he didn't know how to make the meal so he made waffles. Hiro's mom said those are her son's favorite. She tells Hiro's she's not so hungry right now. She then notices something about him looks familiar and asks if they've met. Hiro tells her he is Hiro Nakamura and can travel through time and space. His mother remarks how great it is to see him all grown up and the two hug. Hiro tells her that someone stole his memories so he only believes he's 10 years old. Hiro says he saw that she can heal and asks her to restore his memories. Hiro's mother puts her hands on his head, kisses his forehead and after a moment, Hiro has his memories back.
Hiro tells his mother he remembers how much he misses her in the present day. Hiro's mother asks him to tell her all about his life. Hiro says in the future he and his father grew to love and respect each other. He asks his mother to give him the catalyst so he can protect it in the future. Hiro tells her he is strong enough to carry it and protect it. Hiro's mother agrees with him and touches his chest with her hand glowing, putting the catalyst inside of him. Hiro glows for a moment remarking that his mother showed him how to be a hero, right before his mother passes away next to him. Hiro weeps and bids his mother farewell.

Back to present day, The Haitian and Peter drive towards Pinehearst. Peter tells the Haitian if the eclipse had stayed it would leave everyone powerless. Haitian asks Peter to give him the gun so he can do the job instead of Arthur's own son. Peter says just like Haitian had to take care of his brother, this is his responsibility.

Sylar gets into an elevator still covered in blood. A businessman in a suit nervously eyes him as they ride in the elevator. Sylar asks the man if something's wrong. The man hesitates then says no, but Sylar's new ability causes his head to shake to indicate the man's lying. Sylar remarks how it "kind of tingles".

The bike messenger brings the sketch book to Matt, Daphne and Ando. The messenger said every fanboy of the comic has been trying to grab it and it made his life a living hell. As they open the comic its first page shows a distrought Hiro and says "Hiro Lost in Time". They begin to flip through the comic and next see Claire looking out from the rooftop in NYC. The scene shifts to Claire, sixteen years ago.

As Claire is looking out at the city during the night, Hiro arrives to talk to her. She realizes he can now speak English. Hiro says he has the catalyst now and tells her they can go home. Just then a voice says "looks like I arrived just in time". Arthur Petrelli is there and uses his powers to first fling Claire out of the way, then freeze Hiro then brings him closer to steal the catalyst and Hiro's powers. He flings Hiro out over the rooftop. Claire thinks Hiro's been killed. Arthur walks over to her and says to tell Angela he won and it's over. He sends Claire back to present day. As Arthur teleports away, Hiro begins yelling for help. The scene shows Hiro hanging onto a pole extending from the building, high above the street.

The scene shifts back to Ando, Daphne and Matt reading the comic to see Hiro stuck back in time with no powers. Daphne remarks that it might not be so bad since Arthur has the catalyst and the ability to give people powers. Ando exclaims that maybe he could get the power to go back in time and save Hiro, if they can get the formula.

At Pinehearst, the formula is shown in a large lab vile. Arthur enters the lab and shows Suresh, Tracy and Nathan what he can do. Arthur touches the formula with both hands and starts glowing. Arthur then asks Nathan, "ready to change the world?"

The Haitian and Peter walk into Pinehearst. A guard tries to stop them, but Peter pulls his gun and the Haitian puts a hand on the guard's head to subdue the man. Arthur is shown talking to Tracy, Suresh and Nathan, but then realizes that Peter has arrived. Nathan asks what's wrong, but Arthur tells him just a minor issue. Arthur instructs Nathan to call their first test Marine in, then Arthur leaves to confront Peter.

Peter pulls a gun on Arthur as he enters the room. Arthur tells him not to be silly and tries to use telekinesis to fling him aside. Arthur realizes his power doesn't work. The Haitian then appears and stands next to Peter. Arthur asks if Peter's there to kill him and Peter says he's there to stop him. Peter cocks the gun after Arthur says he doesn't think Peter has the nerve to kill him. Peter says "this ends now".

Nathan, Tracy and Suresh prepare to test the formula on their first marine. It's the marine Nathan talked to before who wanted to be even more of a hero. Suresh enters a sealed chamber to inject the marine, Scott with the newly revised formula. After several moments, Scott starts to shake and convulse in the chair he's strapped down to. Nathan asks what's going on and Suresh says he has no idea.

Meanwhile, the Haitian's hold on Arthur Petrelli starts to weaken. Haitian yells for Peter to shoot now, but Peter hesitates. Arthur tells Peter the formula's ready and he can have all his powers back. Suddenly, the Haitian breaks down as Peter fires the gun at Arthur. The bullet stops just short of Arthur's forehead. Sylar enters the room. Peter aims at him, but Sylar uses telekinesis to fling the gun out of his hand. Sylar then walks over to confront Arthur. Sylar says he wanted to be here, with family, then asks Arthur if he's really his father. Arthur tells Sylar yes, but Sylar's new ability causes his head to shake and tingle, indicating Arthur lied. Sylar looks at Peter and tells him he's no killer, then lets the bullet suspended in mid air fly into Arthur's forehead. Sylar tells Peter not to worry he won't kill him because he has nothing he needs. Sylar leaves the room and Peter tells Haitian to go after him. Just then Peter sees Arthur's body glow with bright light as if the power and catalyst have escaped from his body.

Back in the test room, the soldier continues to convulse, eventually breaking free of the straps in his chair. All of a sudden he calms down. Nathan asks how he feels. The man turns and calmly picks up his bolted-down chair, breaking it free from the ground then tosses it through the glass of his chamber. The chair flies all the way across the room and sticks into the wall. The man remarks "I feel good" with a grin. To be continued...

heroes episode 306 nbc

Heroes Episode 306 "Dying of the Light"

Heroes opens with Suresh narrating and images shown of Mr. Petrelli laying in his hospital bed, then Peter laying subdued within the Company and finally Angella Petrelli laying down. Matt Parkman is shown pushing a cart with the turtle he found in Africa through an airport. Nathan and Tracy are traveling to see Suresh. Sylar is shown waking up, and Suresh is shown looking over at Maya who he put up in a web in his lab.

We return to the scene of the Skunk Bar, where Knox has challenged Hiro to kill his friend Ando, to prove he's a bad guy. Hiro freezes time and teleports to a costume shop where he takes a retracting fake sword and some packets of fake blood. Hiro then teleports back in time to when he and Ando were in the bar with Adam Monroe. Hiro teleports in front of Ando and tells him to use the fake blood packets under his shirt, since he'll have to fake stab him in a few hours. Hiro returns to the present moment, where he turns and stabs Ando with the fake sword. Ando fakes death, and Knox tells Hiro he's in. Daphne gives Hiro a folder and assignment, to track down the precog in Africa. Ando and Hiro teleport off after Daphne leaves.

Claire dashes down the stairs to leave her house as her adoptive mother stops her. She asks Claire where she's going and Claire says to save her mom from the villain Doyle. Mrs. Bennet tells Claire "one of us one of them" and that since she's got no powers, she'll go along. Claire leaves, frustrated. The scene shifts to Doyle's Marionette Theater, where Doyle is continuing to hold Meredith Gordon captive. Doyle vows that he will make her love him once again, but Meredith tells him she never did and he disgusts her. Meredith tells him to let her go or he dies. Doyle tells her he's in control and she can't make a move, since he does it for her. He makes Meredith pick up her wine glass, break it, and then holds the glass against her neck. Meredith begs him not to kill her, and he eventually releases the hold saying she will love him.

At the Pinehearst Company in Fort Lee, NJ, Adam Monroe meets with Knox. Adam asks Knox about his power, and Knox tells him. Knox tosses Adam into the room where Dallas Petrelli is on a breathing device. Adam stands up and walks over to Petrelli, then Mr. Petrelli uses some sort of mind technique to get into his head. Adam begs him not to and tries to run, but Knox turns him back. Eventually, Mr. Petrelli grabs Adam around the arm and drains him of his power and lifeforce, turning him to a skeleton and then to ashes. Mr. Petrelli sits up and tears the breathing tube from his throat, and says "It feels good to breathe again".

At JFK Airport in NY, Daphne is looking at the file folder containing Matt Parkman and Hiro Nakamura's info. She shakes her head and tosses them in a garbage can, but Linderman appears, telling her that's a mistake. Daphne says that she watched Hiro become a killer and doesn't want part of this any longer. Linderman reminds her of some arrangements that had been made for her based on their deal, and Daphne agrees to cooperate. Linderman disappears as Matt Parkman is arriving down an escalator, turtle cage in hand. Parkman's dad is shown nearby hanging up a telephone, then walking off in disgust. Parkman spots Daphne and thanks the turtle. Daphne asks Parkman how he knew her name, then asks him to go sit and talk with her.

Nathan Petrelli and Tracy Strauss arrive at Suresh's lab/apartment. Suresh thinks its Niki, until Nathan fills him in that it's actually her sister and she too has abilities. Tracy shows Suresh her ability to freeze objects and says a Doctor named Zimmerman did this to her and Nathan. Suresh is surprised, saying this is what he's been researching all along and tells Tracy he feels they can be of great help to each other. Suresh gives an injection to both Tracy and Nathan, saying it's the solution to all their problems. All of a sudden, Tracy says something's wrong and collapses on a chair to the floor. Nathan starts seeing things blurry and falls onto the floor, then sees one of the victims Suresh put up in a web. Nathan passes out with Suresh standing nearby.

Daphne gives Parkman a business card and tries to recruit him to work at Pinehurts. Parkman tells Daphne all about his dream vision of the future where they were married and had a baby. Daphne tells Parkman he's getting kind of stalkerish, and is about to run off when Parkman says they named their baby after her grandmother, Daniella. Daphne rushes back over and is amazed Parkman knew this. She tells him to wait for her to come back to the airport in a bit.

Daphne shows up to visit Sylar in his cell and says she's there to break him out so he can meet the man she works for. Sylar refuses to go saying he's no longer a killer. He uses telekinesis to hold Daphne there. She tells him she's on his side and that the Company's trying to change him. She says the man she works for likes Sylar how he is. Daphne quickly puts a business card for Pinehearst in Sylar's hand and then rushes out to run off with another inmate.

Sylar goes in and unstraps Peter from the bed he's on and wakes him. Angrily Peter says that Sylar gave him his killer-type hunger and he wants it gone. Peter informs Sylar that in the future Sylar was different and found a way to supress his ability. Sylar says that gives him hope to find a way to. Sylar tells Peter he needs his help because their mother is in trouble.

Hiro and Ando teleport into Africa in search of the precog who Parkman met with. Hiro warns Ando to be careful since this man can see the future. Ando waits out front of the hut, and Hiro enters the precog's hut. Hiro sees all sorts of the paintings and then spots one of a man hitting him over the head with a shovel. Hiro sees that the paint is still drying and as he turns, he gets hit over the head with a shovel, knocking him out.

Claire and Sandra Bennet arrive at Doyle's place. Claire goes in with one of HRG's stun gun devices, and Sandra chases after her. Inside, Doyle is dancing with Meredith on a stage. Doyle hears a news coming from the front lobby area, and closes Meredith's mouth, then goes out. Out in the lobby he finds Sandra Bennet who says she's looking to book a birthday party for her son. Doyle says he doesn't do parties, but Sandra shows him cash and he tells her to fill out a form. Sandra distracts Doyle a bit saying she'll fill the form out right there, then notices Claire rush down a hall. Sandra says she'll leave to go fill the form out, but Doyle stops her in her tracks, makes her turn around and asks who she is. Claire rushes in and sees Meredith still frozen in position on stage. She tries to get her to escape, but Meredith won't move. Doyle walks in with Sandra and freezes Claire in place just as Claire pulls out a stun gun. Doyle says they have just one shot and makes Claire fire it into a puppet, then drops the gun from her hand.

Ando wakes Hiro up from being knocked out. Ando suggests Hiro warp back in time to just one minute before he was hit. Hiro at first says he vowed to never go back in time again. Hiro finally agrees to do it. He warps back in time and hides behind a rock, to watch the precog inside the hut, hitting another version of himself. Unfortunately, a painting on a rock shows the precog hitting Hiro behind the rock with a shovel. Hiro realizes it, turns and is knocked out yet again. Hiro wakes up again and goes to tell Ando he's done trying time travel on the precog. Hiro suggests they do things the old fashioned way and hide, to wait for the precog to show up.

Daphne speeds into Suresh's place where she recruits him to come help at Pinehearst. She hears a noise from the nearby room and goes in to see Tracy and Nathan on tables and other people in webs on the wall. Suresh tries to grab her, but Daphne rushes off, leaving a card with Suresh to contact Pinehearst.

Doyle has Claire, Sandra and Meredith seated around a table for a game of "spin the gun roulette". The gun spins and points to Claire. Doyle makes her pick it up and tells her to choose who to shoot. He realizes that Sandra is Claire's mom, but isn't sure what relation Meredith is to her. Doyle finally makes Claire point the gun at Meredith and then makes Claire pull the trigger. There's no bullet and the gun clicks as Claire screams. Doyle puts the gun down and tells Sandra it's her time to spin. He makes Sandra spin the gun and it lands on Claire. Doyle forces Sandra to pick up the gun and aim at Claire. Claire tells her mom it's ok to shoot her, as she cries. Sandra pulls the trigger several times and the gun goes off, firing a shot into Claire. Claire falls back and Doyle believes she's dead. Doyle stands up saying, that was fun. As he's turned towards Meredith and Sandra, Claire hits him over the back of the head, knocking him out, then says "show's over".

The scene shifts to Angela Petrelli in a hospital bed, recovering from the vision she had where her believed-to-be-dead husband was alive and taking out the Heroes violently. Sylar and Peter are there. Peter notices Sylar is concerned, and Sylar says she's his mother too. Sylar suggests that Peter go inside her head to find out what's wrong. Peter is knocked back and then draws the helix symbol from Pinehearst. Sylar shows him the card that Daphne gave him earlier.

HRG shows up and shoots Doyle in the neck with something to keep him subdued.. Sandra tells Claire she was amazing, and HRG is impressed that Claire subdued Doyle herself. HRG tells Claire he's impressed, but Claire shoots him a look and walks off. Meredith tells HRG that Claire's a young woman now. HRG says there's a lot more bad guys out there like Doyle they need to watch out for. HRG asks Meredith for her help.

Peter prepares to leave for Pinehearst. Sylar says he's concerned over their mother too, and this angers Peter. Sylar tries to stop him, saying he's consumed by the ability he took in the future. Peter and Sylar get into a fight, with Sylar saying he refuses to let him leave. Peter shows Sylar he's the stronger one now after taking powers. Peter uses lightning to blast Sylar against a wall, then repeatedly punches Sylar with Knox and Niki's strength powers. Peter puts Sylar in his place in the holding cell, hooked up to a machine to keep him subdued.

Back at Suresh' lab, Suresh prepares to do something to Tracy and Nathan. Tracy tries to talk Suresh out of what he's doing, saying she understands how he feels. She puts out her hand and Suresh takes hold of her hand. Then, Tracy uses her power and freezes Suresh's arm. Suresh falls back, and Tracy uses her power to break herself out of the restraints. She frees Nathan and they prepare to escape. Just then, a table flies across the room over their heads. Suresh is back up and tells them they're not done yet.

Parkman is about to leave the airport, and just then Daphne rushes in. Daphne tells Matt he wouldn't fit in at Pinehearst and he needs to stay away from them. Matt tells Daphne that in the future Pinehearst will kill her. He informs her that he met a man in Africa. Matt asks Daphne what Pinehearst has over her and say's he'll protect her. Daphne tells him she can't and runs off, saying goodbye to Parkman.

Hiro and Ando prepare once again to face the precog in Africa, this time at night. Ando spots a shovel leaning against a rock. Hiro enters the hut with the shovel in hand. The precog is at a fire, and Hiro prepares to bash him over the head. The precog tells Hiro that he passed his test, and stopped relying so much on his powers, but instead used his head. The precog shows Hiro a painting with the helix symbol and four villains around it. The precog asks Hiro to take him to them, and then he can follow his own path.

Peter teleports to Pinehearst and walks into the building invisible. Inside Dallas Petrelli is enjoying a drink as Knox, Daphne, Parkman's dad and another of the escaped villains are there. All of a sudden, Peter busts in. The villains prepare to battle him, and Mr. Petrelli says its ok, because it's his son. Peter asks how it's possible he's alive, then asks if he's behind what happened to his mother. Dallas tells Peter to give him a hug, and in doing son, Mr. Petrelli drains Peter of all of his powers. Mr. Petrelli reveals that now he has all of Peter's powers.

season 3 heroes episode 5 hrg mr bennet

Season 3: Episode 305: "Angels & Monsters"

The episode opens with Nathan Petrelli narrating about his second chance and how everything's happening so fast. He's shown in bed with Tracy Strauss, and scenes are shown from various Heroes; Hiro & Ando digging up Takezo Kenzei, Claire getting a gun ready in her car, Peter confronting Sylar in present day, and Mohinder Suresh in the woods overlooking a village area. In his narration, Nathan questions whether he's an angel or a monster, hero or villain?

Nathan gets up for a late night snack and as he's shutting the fridge, Linderman appears. Linderman and Nathan discuss the various religious signs that God sent. Nathan disagrees that a dead mobster could be sent by God, but questions how Linderman knew Tracy would need help. Tracy comes into the kitchen and asks Nathan who he was talking to.

Mohinder confronts a stranger, saying he needs something from him. Mohinder says he needs something to "take the edge off". The man offers a variety of drugs, but Mohinder says he needs him, and grabs the man.

Peter confronts Sylar in his cell at The Company, saying he'll never be like him. Sylar informs Peter they're brothers, and as Peter goes ballistic, his mother Angela comes walking over. Peter breaks Sylar's neck, and drops him. Angela enters and Peter suspends her motion, asking what other secret's she's keeping. Peter decides to buzzsaw into her forehead to get the secrets himself. Sylar is able to heal himself back and then flings Peter against the wall to knock him out before he can get into Angela's head. Sylar asks if Peter will be ok, and Angela says she'll make sure of it. HRG comes up to the cell window, and Sylar goes out to meet him. HRG says they have a lead on a new target and need to go. Sylar is surprised he was asked to go by HRG.

Claire's adoptive mother Sandra is rifling through files of villains from Level 5. Meredith walks in, and Sandra tells her that Claire lied about going to a cheerleader retreat. Sandra says Claire must have gone after one of the villains and points out one man who is able to create vortexes and make people disappear forever. Meredith finds one man in particular, Eric Doyle, who she seems concerned about. Meredith says the man lives not far from there. Sandra says she'll go along, but Meredith tells her that's a bad idea and leaves.

The man Sandra Bennet had seen in the files (who creates vortexes) is shown having an angry conversation on the phone at a house. He yells about not being able to see his wife and kids, then in anger creates a vortex to make an object disappear. He hears footsteps and Claire comes up behind him, then hits him with a Tazer to knock him to the floor.

Adam Monroe grabs Hiro around the neck after he's been dug up from being buried alive. Hiro tells him he needs his help to find out the villain who has stolen the formula. Ando suggests it's a bad idea since Adam killed Hiro's father, but Hiro says as a hero he needs to make the sacrifice. Adam asks what's in it for him, and Hiro says a more spacious cell when they're done. Adam suggests Angela Petrelli, and Hiro says she asked for him to find the formula. Adam says he's out of ideas and Hiro teleports him back into the coffin. Adam then yells out that he has a plan for how to find the villain.

Linderman speaks to Daphne about recruiting individuals for a "New World Order". Linderman manipulates her, and she says she will do it as long as she gets paid. Linderman gives her a file folder about "others" she can recruit, including Knox and Suresh.

HRG and Sylar are driving to follow up on the lead HRG has. In the car, HRG again confronts Sylar for terrorizing his daughter and family, and for killing someone with valuable info. Sylar says rehab takes time.

Claire continues to confront the man who can create vortexes. He says he made one mistake and was judged to be a monster because of it. Claire says he needs to be put away. The man creates a vortex and pulls the Tazer out of Claire's hand, making it disappear.

Suresh drags the dead body of the drug dealer into his lab. He takes off his own shirt to reveal the lesions all over his back. Just then, Maya shows up, with a flier that was in the door, showing the neighbor Suresh attacked is missing. Suresh tells Maya he's getting closer to a solution. Maya notices a trail of blood on the floor and leaves the scene. Mohinder goes back into the other room and his neighbor is shown dead in a web of a sticky substance up against the wall.

The vortex villain interrogates Claire about who she's working for. He realizes she's not from The Company and pulls out another business card for "Pinehearst" in Fort Lee, New Jersey. The man asks Claire if she's with them and she shakes her head no. Claire tells him she read his file and he killed a man. The man says he got into an argument with his neighbor and lost control, killing him by mistake. He says he never got a trial was just locked up. The man says he just wants to be normal, to see his family and kid. He tells Claire to leave, and she's surprised he is allowing her to leave. Claire tells him maybe she can help.

Nathan asks Tracy why she was trying to commit suicide and she tells him about accidentally murdering a reporter. Tracy tells Nathan she needs to turn herself in, and he says it's a bad idea because nobody will believe her power/story. Nathan tells her not to turn herself in, because he wanted to tell everyone about his power before, but saw God and believes in a higher purpose now. Tracy tells Nathan about the doctor she met who may have created their powers.

Claire helps the man she met to give a phone call to his wife and kids, since she has the info in the file folder. He calls his wife asking to arrange a place to meet up with her and the kids. All of a sudden the phone goes dead on him. The door bursts open and HRG is pointing a gun at him, but sees Claire. Sylar enters and Claire's asking why he is there. The man who befriended Claire starts thinking she set him up, and he creates a vortex in the floor, pulling objects from all over the room into it. Claire, HRG and Sylar hang on to things to keep from getting sucked in. Sylar extends a hand to Claire as she screams "Dad".

The vortex disappears with Sylar saving Claire. She angrily asks her father if he's working with Sylar after what he did to her. HRG continues to ask Claire where Mr. Canfield went and she tells her father the man isn't bad he just needs help. HRG says he will talk to him then. Claire reveals he is meeting people at a carousel in a park.

Adam Monroe takes Hiro and Ando to a bar where "for hired" people go to. Adam says he needs a drink badly. Hiro threatens to put him back into the coffin if he tries anything. Adam orders a drink and a large man comes up to confront Adam about something he did with his wife. Adam says he didn't know she was the man's wife. The man goes to punch Adam in the face, but Adam ducks and Hiro gets punched. With Hiro down, Adam takes off with the other man chasing him out of the bar.

Nathan and Tracy visit with Angela Petrelli at the cell in The Company. Angela says she put Peter in an induced coma due to the face he took Sylar's evil ability. Angela also discusses Dr. Zimmerman, and how he did experiments with a synthetic techonology on infants, including Tracy, Niki and their sister Barbara. Angela tells Nathan they gave him his ability too.

Maya returns to Suresh's loft/lab and finds the missing neighbor stuck up against the wall. The man is still alive and makes eye contact. She tries to pull the substance off him to get him free, but just then Suresh arrives back home. Maya hides in the lab, and as Suresh is seeing that the man against the wall is partially freed, Maya unleashes her plague-like power. Suresh begins to feel the effects and screams for Maya to show herself. Suresh finds Maya and tells her to control her power, because she doesn't want to be a killer again. Maya calls Suresh a monster, and Suresh goes after her.

Hiro regains consciousness and he and Ando go searching an alley near the bar for Adam. They rush by a dumpster and Adam pokes his head out. Adam tries to sneak off down the alleyway but is punched out of nowhere by the villain Knox. Knox grabs Adam to toss him into a van. Knox calls someone via cell phone and says it's done, then asks what to do about the 2 Japanese guys.

Angela Petrelli says the reason they gave Nathan an ability was because his father was disappointed he wasn't born with an ability. Tracy asks why she was given it then since her parents died. Angela says she realizes what was done to her was wrong and that's why they divided up the formula and tried to hide it away. Angela says she needs help to get the formula back. Nathan tells his mother to go to hell and questions who else she used as a personal guinea pig. Nathan and Tracy leave and outside Nathan says they must find Dr. Suresh, who is harmless, but can help them find answers. Just then the scene cuts to Suresh making sure Maya is secure against the wall in the sticky substance he's been emitting.

Claire goes to find Mr. Canfield at the carousel. Canfield is in a depressed state and tells Claire his family never showed up to meet him. Canfield says his wife and kids must be afraid of him. Canfield says maybe he is a monster. Just then HRG shows up pointing a gun to his head. Sylar is a little ways off standing next to their car. HRG makes Canfield a deal, saying if he kills Sylar right now, he's free to go. Claire asks HRG why he's doing this and he says for what Sylar did to her. Canfield says they've already taken his life away from him. He creates a vortex and pulls himself in, killing himself.

Ando and Hiro drown their sorrows at the bar, with Ando saying they are the worst heroes ever for losing Daphne and Adam Monroe. Hiro continues to drink, and Daphne shows up with Knox, asking if they're looking for work. Hiro and Ando claim they've changed and are "badasses" now. Daphne says they'll need to prove it. Knox grabs a sword off the wall and gives it to Hiro. He says since Hiro has powers and Ando doesn't, Hiro must kill Ando to prove he's a badass. Hiro turns and faces Ando with sword in hand, and tells Ando he's sorry but must make sacrifices to save the world. Hiro thrusts the sword into Ando's chest, killing him in front of Daphne and Knox.

HRG brings Claire back home and tries to tell her that he tried to do what was best for her. Sylar is in the car and tells Claire that HRG is a user and tries to use them to get what he wants. Claire gets out of the car and HRG asks her if she understands. Claire says she does, and goes back into the house. Sandra Bennet finds Claire and hugs her and mentions that it's good Meredith found her. Claire asks what she means.

Meredith is shown eating dinner with the man, Doyle, she tracked down to see if he had Claire. The man has the power of human puppetry, and is using his power to make Meredith eat dinner and then kiss him. His place is full of various puppets.

Angela Petrellia is reading a file in her office. All of a sudden she's in what appears to be a dream scene made by someone else. She opens a door and finds Tracy Strauss lying on the floor in blood. Next to her is Nathan, who's laying bleeding against the wall. Peter is standing in the hall and Angela asks if he did this. Peter falls to the floor with an object stuck in the back of his head. A man's voice begins speaking and Angela turns around in horror/surprise. The man puts his bloody hand on Angela's shoulder, telling her she won't even be able to move if she tries to stop him. The man's hand reveals a ring.

Daphne shows up to meet with Linderman. He asks if everyone's on board, and Daphne says even the Japanese guy is. Next, Linderman gives her a file of a final man to recruit, but says he will be the most difficult. She opens the file to find a picture of Matt Parkman. Linderman tells her Parkman can alter her thoughts and make her see things that aren't really there. Daphne then tells Linderman she can sneak up on anyone except Linderman. She swipes her hand through him and says she knew he wasn't really there. Linderman tells her to just get Parkman. As the two leave the scene, Matt Parkman's dad shows up in a suit and walks through the courtyard.

Parkman's dad enters the Pinehearst laboratory building. He walks up to where a scientist is checking on an unseen patient. He informs the patient, who's on a respirator, that everything's going according to plan, and he even planted thoughts in Nathan's head, to make him think Linderman was having him dow the work of God. He then seizes up and says that Knox will bring Adam Monroe by tomorrow and he'll be ready. He says everything is going just as planned and then refers to the man as "Mr. Petrelli", as his face is shown, and Heroes ends to be continued..
