Due to NBC's political coverage and Saturday Night Live's political parody party that aired Monday night (Election eve), Heroes took a week off. Here's the synopsis of what to expect next week on the show:

THE ROOTS OF EVIL ARE NOT ALWAYS WHAT THEY SEEM: ARTHUR PETRELLI, FLINT, AND SYLAR REVEAL THEIR DARK ORIGINS.

In a prelude to the coming confrontation, Hiro (Masi Oka) traces respected businessman, husband and father Arthur Petrelli (guest star Robert Forster) back to the days before he "died" -- to discover what drove him to create rival company Pinehearst and strike at Angela (Cristine Rose). His journey reveals a critical moment when Sylar (Zachary Quinto), horrified and guilt-ridden, might have stopped his murderous pursuit of abilities - that is, if H.R.G. (Jack Coleman) and Elle (guest star Kristen Bell) had been swayed from their monstrous assignment. Finally, under the wing of Company man Thompson (guest star Eric Roberts), agent-in-training Meredith (guest star Jessalyn Gelsig) watches her new life go up in smoke, following the arrival of her hot-headed brother.

Greg Grunberg, James Kyson Lee, Ali Larter, Hayden Panettiere, Adrian Pasdar, Sendhil Ramamurthy, Dania Ramirez and Milo Ventimiglia also star. Jimmy Jean-Louis, Malcolm McDowell, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, Ron Perkins, Blake Shields, and Jeff Staron guest star.

Heroes resumes with Season 3 Villains next Monday 11/10/08 at 9 PM EST!

Heroes Episode 10 "Truth & Consequences" looks to feature some great Hero vs Hero battles, including Hiro vs. Peter, Elle vs. Claire, Alejandro vs. Sylar and Micah vs. his cousin. Ok the last one isn't so much of a hero battle, but you'll catch a glimpse of it in the Canadian trailer below.

The Hiro vs. Peter battle should prove interesting, but does anyone besides Sylar really stand a chance against Peter? Yes Hiro can use a sword, teleport and stop time, but so can Peter. We already saw Sylar come out of Hiro's frozen time trap, but that may have been due to Hiro's inability to control his power then.

This Monday night's episode of Heroes is one which should start answering a lot of questions fans may have had. For example, what happened after the Bomb? How did Peter get chained up in that container? How did DL die? What happened to Sylar after he was stabbed by Hiro's Samurai Sword? And of course the big question, what will Adam (Takezo Kensei's) involvement be in all of this?

It looks like a great episode this Monday night, and full of all sorts of great revelations. From the looks of the preview, Elle may have had a bit of an affair with Peter. It also appears like the Haitian became involved in the situation and maybe he's the reason Peter has lost his memory. Stay tuned...You can check out a preview video here at YouTube.

Heroes Preview: "Out of Time"

Tonight's episode of Heroes will be titled "Out of Time". Here's the official plot synopsis:

"When one of his forgotten abilities suddenly manifests, Peter (Milo Ventimiglia) and Caitlin (Katie Carr) get thrown into a crisis situation, and learn first-hand just how deadly the mysterious virus striking people with abilities can be.

Suresh (Sendhil Ramamurthy), Matt (Greg Grunberg), Nathan (Adrian Pasdar), Niki (Ali Larter) and Bob (Stephen Tobolowsky) band together to fend off the “nightmare man’s” attack."
