There seems to be a lot of further storytelling for Heroes done via its online Graphic novels. Something many fans overlook, but these contain insight into the various character origins, or other adventures they embark upon. According to TV Guide.com they will have upcoming looks at DL Hawkin's career as a fire fighter and a bit more about the new high-flyer, West. There is also a full Hardcover book being released which contains all of the online graphic stories from Season 1.

Heroes, Volume One is officially released today, Wednesday, November 7th.

Season 2 of Heroes starts in just under a week, as the first new episode of Season 2 will be on Monday night at 9PM. The anticipation is building, but in the meantime a quick review of where we left off.

- Matt Parkman was shot by his own bullets. He tried to shoot Sylar before the battle with Peter, but it was to no avail. Sylar simply froze the bullets in the air and flung them back at Parkman. The former cop had several bullet wounds and we last saw him being loaded into the back of an ambulance.

- Sylar and Peter had another showdown. Other Heroes showed up for this battle though, as Nikki Sanders used her super strength to knock Sylar down. The power then transferred to Peter Petrelli as he began to pummel Sylar. Unfortunately, Peter had come into contact with radioactive hero, Ted Sprague. His hands began to glow and Peter did not know how to stop himself from exploding. Hiro Nakamura showed up and impaled Sylar in the midsection with his Samurai sword. As Peter asks Hiro for help, Sylar uses one last power as he's "dying". Sylar uses telekinesis and hurls Hiro towards a tall building. Hiro uses teleportation and leaves the scene, mid air.

- Nathan Petrelli swooped down onto the scene to save the day and his brother. He grabbed his nuclear brother, Peter, and the two flew straight up into the atmosphere. A brilliant explosion was seen, and we have no idea if either of the Petrelli brothers survived.

- DL Hawkins was shot, by Mr. Linderman, the mob boss. Right after being shot, Hawkins used his power of phasing through solid objects and punched Linderman in the back of the head. Hawkins then pulled out a fist full of blood and Linderman crashed to the floor, supposedly dead. DL was being cared for by Nikki, the last we saw him, as he was slumped up against a building watching Sylar and Peter battle. DL and Nikki's son, Micah was also present and uninjured.

- Molly Walker aka "the tracking system" was last seen with Mohinder Suresh. She claimed before finding Sylar, that there is someone worse than "the boogeyman", someone who can see her. A scary thought.

- Noah Bennet aka "HRG" was last seen in an arm sling, so he appears to be ok. However, it is unknown what the status of his previous employers is. The Primatech company seemed to have its top agent/boss shot by HRG. However, we don't know who else might be behind the scenes for Primatech.

- Hiro Nakamura, who Sylar flung towards a building managed to teleport himself all the way back to ancient Japan, right in the midst of Samurai warriors on horses. We most likely will open Season 2 with Hiro meeting his new mentor and learning the art of combat.

- And last but not least we saw a trail of Sylar's blood leading to a manhole, with the cover opened. As of the end of Season 1, we do not know if Sylar has survived or not. Popular belief would make one say, "of course he's alive, the villains always come back again".

Season 1 of NBC's sci-fi drama television show Heroes premiered on September 25, 2006. The show took off running and didn't look back. Season 1 was entitled "Genesis" and examined a group of people who seemed ordinary but discovered they had extraordinary abilities. In the premiere season, the characters are discovering their abilities and themselves and each other. The show focus on several characters, with an emphasis on Peter Petrelli who determines he has the ability to absorb abilities, all just by being nearby to another person with ability. In Season 1 of Heroes, the audience was also introduced to a sinister villain named Sylar, capable of stealing powers by killing those with abilities and opening their heads. Sylar and Peter do battle several times throughout the season, and the other characters struggle to find answers and a normal way of life while having their abilities. The central story also focused on "saving a cheerleader" known as Claire Bennet, in order to save the world from impending doom and destruction.

For Heroes Season 1 "Genesis", this marks the final episode. Here is a recap of the explosive Season 1 Finale to "Heroes" entitled "How to Stop an Exploding Man", originally aired on Monday, May 21, 2007.

Heroes opened with a flashback of various scenes from throughout past episodes. Niki was seen tending to DL who had taken a bullet from Linderman. DL then proceded to stick his hand through the back of Linderman's head to kill him. Niki asked DL to use his power to phase them through the office wall and escape guards who had just broken into the room. Meanwhile, HRG and Matt Parkman had just entered Molly Walker's holding chamber. HRG held a gun towards Molly as Mohinder Suresh clocked Parkman over the back of the head with his gun. HRG told Suresh as long as Molly is alive, 1000's are at risk to die. HRG said killing her will save them. Suresh asked HRG if killing Thompson saved 1000's, and HRG said no it was to save his own life. Just then Matt Parkman, lying on the floor, saw Molly underneath the bed. Molly exclaimed Officer Parkman was back to keep her safe. Parkman said nobody would be harming Molly. Hiro spoke to his father about how all his life Hiro had been viewed as a failure. Hiro's father handed him the sword and Hiro teleported off to go find and save his friend Ando, who had left to battle Sylar by himself. Sylar was seen at Isaac Mendez' apartment painting yet another vision for the future. This painting showed him face to face with Peter Petrelli. Sylar exclaimed "Peter Petrelli" and then used his power to slice the painting of Peter flying in half.

Nathan is in his office sans election victory speech. His mother enters the office to inform him that Linderman was murdered in his office, but that this doesn't change plans, and the bomb will still be going off. Nathan informs her that his wife and kids have landed in Nantucket and that a chopper will be meeting he and his mother on the roof. Nathan tells his mother that the city and nation will need him after this terrible explosion. Niki and DL are searching for Micah in the office building, and DL tells Niki to leave him behind. Niki says she will find their son and come back for him. Meanwhile, Suresh and HRG are moving Thompson's body in a sheet to hide it in another location. Suresh angrily confronts HRG about nearly shooting Molly. HRG explains how the agency he used to work for is now corrupt and his only priority is protecting his family. Suresh explains that he is responsible for Molly's life, since he used his own antibodies to save her. Just then Parkman enters saying something is wrong with Molly, and Suresh rushes to help. HRG receives a cell phone calls from Claire who is traveling with Peter. Claire informs HRG that Sylar got to Ted and killed him. HRG speaks to Peter and tells him he is the only one who can stop Sylar. HRG says he will use a tracking system to locate Sylar, and tells Peter to keep Claire safe at all costs. Peter brings Claire to Nathan who is waiting in a parking garage. Claire gets angry at Peter for lying and bringing her to Nathan. Peter says he is scared and that he wants to do what's best. Peter goes out and talks to Nathan, and tries to explain the bomb is Sylar, who killed Ted Sprague. Peter then hears Nathan thinking that nobody will be able to stop the bomb and everyone will die. Peter turns to get Claire, but sees she has vanished from the car. As Claire is trying to escape, she runs into her grandmother. Nathan goes for Peter, but Peter turns invisible and leaves the scene. As Peter goes out into an empty street yelling for Claire, his hands start glowing with radiation and Peter collapses.

HRG, Parkman and Suresh are bedside with Molly Walker and ask her to locate Sylar. Parkman asks Molly how she is able to locate someone and she says just by thinking about them, and then pointing to them on the map. Parkman asks if she can find anyone, and Molly says just about anyone. Molly tells them there is 1 person, who is worse than the Boogeyman, and when she thinks about him, he can see her. Molly then sticks a pushpin on the map, and HRG and Suresh determine it is Isaac Mendez' loft where Sylar is. HRG tries to call Claire's cell phone to get in touch with Peter, but Claire's grandmother takes the call. She tells HRG they are taking Claire out of harm's way and she suggests HRG do the same. HRG asks to say goodybe to Claire. While on the phone he tells her to go with Nathan and her grandmother, and once she is out of the city to get away from them. HRG asks Claire where Peter is, but Claire says she doesn't know. HRG assures Claire he has a plan. HRG tells Parkman their new priority is to find Peter Petrelli, since he is the only one capable of stopping Sylar. Parkman says that he is a cop and he will go after Sylar on his own. HRG says that Sylar will kill Parkman if he does that, but Parkman leaves anyway with his gun. Peter awakens in a dream state while laying in the street. He sees himself back up on the Deveaux loft, where he is helping care for Charles Deveaux. Peter also sees his mother come through to meet with Mrs. Petrelli. Peter meets Simone Deveaux and assures her he is there to help. Peter in the dream sees his mother talking to Mr Deveaux about the bomb and Linderman. Mr Deveax says he sees hope in Peter because he has heart. Peter's mother tells Deveaux that Peter is weak and ruled by insecurities. Peter's mom says the bomb will go off and Nathan will become a hero. As Peter's mom exits, Mr. Deveaux tells Peter he knows he is there.

Ando enters Isaak Mendez' apartment with sword in hand looking for Sylar. On his way over to the painting of Peter facing Sylar, he steps in a puddle. Just then, Sylar appears from behind him. Sylar makes Andos sword fly away, then puts one hand on Ando's throat, and sends him against the wall using telekinesis. Sylar notices that Ando has dropped a 9th Wonder comic, and inside sees the picture of Hiro slicing Sylar with his sword. Sylar asks Ando where Peter Petrelli is and starts cutting into his skull as Ando is screaming. Just then, Hiro appears behind Sylar and grabs the sword from the floor. Hiro yells for Sylar to let him go. Sylar turns and challenges Hiro to try his "little time stop trick" befor Sylar cuts his friends head off. Hiro teleports over to Ando and then teleports the two of them out of the apartment, away from Sylar. Niki finds an open door in the building she is looking for Micah in. As she opens the door, what appears to be Jessica is sitting on a couch. She tells Niki to look at what she's done, and Niki sees Micah lying dead on the ground behind the couch. Niki rushes over and begins to cry as the fake Jessica tells her she is weak. Fake Jessica then knocks Niki out. Meanwhile, Matt Parkman enters Isaak Mendez' apartment to find all of the paintings done by Sylar and Isaak. Parkman finds the painting of Peter facing off with Sylar, and leaves to go to the scene where it will happen. Suresh is trying to rush Molly out of the building, saying he just heard from Officer Parkman that the Boogeyman is on his way. Molly begins to think and then tells Suresh the Boogeyman is already there.

Claire speaks with her grandmother and Nathan in Nathan's office. She yells at them both saying they are insane to let their own son/brother to blowup and kill millions with his explosion. Her Grandmother tells her they will give her everything she's always wanted, including a normal life and family. Claire hugs Nathan and tells them, "I already have a family". Claire bolts towards the window of Nathan's office and jumps straight through the glass out the window. Claire falls many stories and hits the ground below with a thud. Nathan and Mrs. Petrelli rush to the window and see Claire lying on the street, then see Claire get up and walk off. Mrs. Petrelli tells Nathan to "let her go".

Niki battles the fake Jessica in the office apartment. As she falls to the ground, she sees her reflection in the mirro and Jessica tells her that the other woman isn't her. She tells Niki she needs to stop her and get Micah. Niki gains a burst of strength and punches the fake Jessica across the room. Fake Jessica ends up being Candice, the shapeshifter, who is knocked out cold on the ground. The appearance of a dead Micah on the ground also disappears. Niki then hears Micah yelling for help from a nearby locked closet. She rushs over to the door and yanks it open, and then tells Micah it is really her. She says they need to find DL now. Meanwhile as Suresh is bringing Molly Walker out into the building hallway, they stumble upon DL lying there. Suresh goes to tend to DL's wound and asks Molly to be a lookout, because the elevator system is not working.

Hiro and Ando appear back in Japan at the office where they work. Hiro tells Ando that now he must go back alone to face Sylar. Hiro thanks Ando for his friendship and bravery and presents Ando with a sword, saying it is a sign he will be back to see him again. Hiro tells Ando "it is not the sword, it is the man and this man is ready". Hiro then teleports out of the building. Peter speaks to Charles Deveaux in the dream state. Charles tells Peter his heart has the ability to love unconditionally, making Peter special. Just then Charles yells for the version of Peter in the dream to take him to his bed. Peter wakes up at HRG's yelling at him. Peter tells HRG that he needs to leave the city since Peter doesnt feel he can contain his own blast from the radiation. HRG tells Peter he needs to stick around to help Peter because if he goes nuclear that he will shoot him down. Peter thanks him as "Mr. Bennet", but HRG tells Peter to call him "Noah". Molly and Suresh continue to tend to DL, but then Molly tells Suresh the guards are on their way. Niki and Micah rush in, and Suresh yells they have to get out of there. Micah uses his power to manipulate the broken elevator system and make it work. Molly, Mohinder, DL, Micah and Niki get int othe elevator and escape just as the guards come rushing in. Peter and HRG head to the spot where HRG says the tracking system said to go to. Sylar appears from behind HRG and taps him on the shoulder. Sylar then uses telekinesis to toss HRG way back against a building wall, causing HRG to fall to the ground and lose his gun. Peter turns to see Sylar who asks "what took you so long?" and the two face each other, again.

Sylar faces off with Peter yet again, but this time Peter has help. Sylar begins to choke Peter lifting him from his feet telling him he won't stop him this time. Just then Matt Parkman appears and shoots 3 bullets towards Sylar. Sylar freezes the bullets mid air, then sends them straight back at Parkman into his chest/stomach. Just then, Niki, DL, Suresh, Molly and Micah appear as Sylar continues to choke Peter. Sylar uses his power to make a parking meter rip out of the ground, then swings it into Peter knocking him down. Niki sees what is going on and runs over towards Peter. As Sylar is about swing the meter again, Niki grabs it and rips it from Sylar's hand. Niki then swings the meter into Sylar sending him crashing down. Micah yells to Niki that DL needs her help. Peter tells Niki to go back to his family. With his newly gained power of super-strength, Peter basically starts to beat the crap out of Sylar, punching him many times in the face with immense power. Just then, Peter's hands start to glow again. Sylar begins to laugh as he stands up and tells Peter "You're the bad guy, I'm the hero here". Peter continues to emit radiation. Just then, Hiro teleports in behind Sylar. Sylar turns to see Hiro, who yells and charges straight at Sylar with his sword. Hiro jabs the sword into Sylar's gut, then pulls it out, as Sylar falls to the ground. Peter asks Hiro to kill him so he won't explode. Sylar still alive, uses telekinesis to send Hiro flying back through the air towards a building. Hiro manages to teleport himself out just before he is about to hit. Peter continues glowing even more. Sylar's eye does a roullette type trick and shows all of the people Sylar murdered, then eye glosses over.

Claire enteres the scene and sees HRG shot down next to the building. She goes over to him and he convinces her to take his gun and go shoot Peter. Claire approaches Peter with the gun and Peter yells for her to do it. Claire is hesitant and about to shoot Peter, but just then Nathan flys down. He tells Claire the future isn't set in stone, and tells Peter since Peter saved the cheerleader now they have to save the world. Claire tells Nathan he will die if he flies Peter away, but Nathan says he will save millions of people. Nathan grabs Peter and the two fly up high into the stratosphere. An explosion is seen overhead by Claire, HRG, Suresh, DL, Niki, Micah and Molly. Niki asks DL what will happen to them, but everyone seems stunned.

As the events wrap up, HRG tells Claire he is going to take her home. Claire asks where home is, and HRG says wherever our family is together. The two leave with HRG in a sling. Matt Parkman is being taken away on a stretcher and Molly Walker runs over to talk to him. Matt is unconscious, but Molly yells to him he can't die because he is her hero. With ambulances and police on the scene, a trail of blood where Sylar was killed is also seen, and then a manhole cover, which is cracked open, indicating Sylar was either dragged down to the sewer or escaped on his own. Volume 1: Genesis concludes.

A brief 2 minutes into Heroes Season 2: Generations comes at the conclusion of the show. Hiro falls from the air into a grass field, with a bird soaring high over head. Just then a bunch of horses are heard approaching fast. As Hiro gets up, he sees a small army of Samurai warriors in red on horses, and some in front with bow and arrow. The warriors begin to prepare their weapons for battle. It is then revealed that Hiro is in Kyoto Japan, 1671. Hiro exclaims something in Japanese and it is translated as "%#%_(%!". Hiro turns to the other side and sees a single Samurai warrior wearing blue armor. The single Samurai goes to draw his sword. Just then a solar eclipse occurs overhead causing the everyone to become covered in the dark, as the show concludes.

Peter is with Claire in New York and they had been searching for Ted Sprague, to
prevent the bomb. Claire spots her surrogate father, HRG, and runs to him, as
Peter follows. Ted and Matt are with HRG, and because Peter is in proximity to
Ted, he starts to emit radioactive energy from his hands. Peter yells for Claire to
use the gun hegave her to shoot him, but just then Peter is able to stop himself and
control the radioactivity. Claire meets with HRG to discuss his goals for coming to
NYC. HRG says he is there to stop the tracking system so then he and Claire can
have a normal life. HRG suggests that Claire go with Ted and Peter to a town in Nebraska to be safe, where Claire can stop either of them if they go nuclear. Ted
after some resistance says he's in. From a distance, Sylar is around a corner and has been listening and says "me too". As the 3 embark on their journey they are
discussing their ability and Peter stops everyone on the street. Peter hears the nearby thoughts of Sylar thinking about how he can use Ted's power for evil. Peter tells them Sylar is nearby and they need to get out of the area.

Nathan is dealing with his election and talking to Linderman in his office about the
disappointing results so far. Linderman tells Nathan in time he will lead the country, after today's congress election. Linderman tells Nathan his father would be proud of him uniting the country after the explosion that will happen. Linderman informs Nathan that Nathan's father also had powers and tried to save the world, but
learned it wasn't enough and gave up. Linderman tells Nathan that his father was
weak, but Nathan says his father was his hero. As Nathan's wife comes into the
office in her wheelchair, Linderman says he wants to give them both a gift for
Nathan's success. Linderman hold's Nathan's wife's hand for an extended time
looking at her. Nathan's wife comes over to him to chastise him for associating
with a man like Linderman. As they are arguing, Nathan notices his wife's foot
moving. She is able to stand up and is joyous over the fact that she can once again
use her legs. Nathan calls it a miracle.

Meanwhile, Hiro and Ando contact a local NY shop to repair the sword that was
broken by Sylar. The symbol in the phone book for the shop matches the symbol
seen on the sword, so Ando makes the call. Hiro gets on the phone and tells the
store clerk, the fate of the world is in his hands. As they are walking to the shop, they spot "flying man" or Nathan Petrelli. Hiro and Ando walk over to him where the crowd is. Hiro yells to him, and Nathan goes to talk to them. Hiro informs Nathan he must help them stop the bomb, because otherwise he becomes a bad
person in the future. Nathan says he is sorry but he cant stop it and nobody can.
Hiro yells at him "you already a bad guy, you a villain". Nathan waves to the crowd
and thanks them as he gets in his car. Jessica and DL are nearby and spot
Nathan, and say they need to go find him, to get to Linderman. DL says Nathan
will never see them coming. Hiro and Ando enter the shop to get the ancient sword
repaired. Hiro explains the sword was frozen cold then snapped, and asks the
shopkeeper if it can be fixed. The shopkeeper says it depends, on him, as a back
door opens and reveals Hiro's father, Mr. Nakamura.

Ando begs Hiro not to go back and meet with his father because he might convince
Hiro to go back to Japan. Hir says out of respect he must hear what his father has
to say. Micah is being held captive by Candice in an apartment, and discussing how he doesnt understand why someone cool like Candice works for a bad guy like
Linderman. Candice says that Linderman is going to heal the world. Micah says
he didn't realize it was sick. Linderman meets with Micah and tells him if he does
as he's told with his powers, Linderman will give Micah and his family enough
money to live happy every after. As Peter, Claire and Ted are walking in the city,
the FBI and special agents with police cars pounce on them. Ted yells for Peter
and Claire to run. Peter uses invisibility and escapes with Claire through the crowd. Ted pleads with Matt Parkman's former partner, Agent Hanson, that he
isn't a terrorist. She tells Ted he will be going to Guantanomo Bay, and he asks for a special cell so that his blast will not hurt people. Meanwhile, Hiro's father
explains that he like Hiro has special powers, and will now teach Hiro how to use
the sword and powers. Hiro's father shows Hiro several moves and tells him he
knows "a few things".

Candice disguised as a black woman to be Micah's mom, has Micah use his powers on a voting machine to rig the election to be a landslide victory for Nathan.
Micah is able to use his power to reach all of the voting machines networked together and gives Nathan a landslide victory. Meanwhile DL and Jessica find Nathan in his office where he is just seeing he won the electiong with %64 of the votes. DL and Jessica ask Nathan to inform them where Linderman is. Jessica and DL convince Nathan that Linderman is bad and will only continue taking things Nathan loves. Nathan asks them to assure him that Linderman won't come after them if they find him. Nathan gives them the location. DL says because Linderman took their son, he's going to pay for it. Takezo Kenzei stories father told to Hiro, where Kenzei tried to unite Japan, asking the wise dragon to teach him the secrets of the sword. The dragon taught Kenzei to be a sword saint, so Kenzei could save his people. The dragon came to Kenzei's palace and demanded the life of the princess. Kenzei drew his sword and put it into his own heart, saying "my love is in here, take it", and Kenzei then died. Hiro tells his father he must be stronger to face his enemy. Hiro's father demands Hiro to prove he is worthy of being a true hero by showing his sword skills. Hiro becomes angry and begins swinging the sword even more furiously than before. Meanwhile Parkman and HRG are infiltrating the building where the "tracking system" is found. HRG tells Matt to use his ability to hear thoughts to get them up to the proper floor. Matt uses his power to read a security guards thoughts and pretend he knows him. The security guard lets them through. On their way, they bump into Jessica and DL. Matt tells HRG they have to get out of there when he sees Jessica. HRG walks up to Jessica and DL and says they have similar goals, convincing them to work together.

Mohinder has finally cured Molly Walker, who has the ability to think about any person and locate them. Mohinder asks her to prove it, so she thinks about Matt Parkman, and places a pin on a map to indicate he is in the same building. She asks Suresh if she will get to see the man who saved her life again, the cop. Suresh asks Molly if she can think about where "the Boogeyman" aka Sylar is right now. Just as she is about to, agent Thompson, HRG's former boss, enters and says now that Molly is cured, there is a helicopter ready to take her and Suresh to someplace safe. Parkman and HRG ride up in an elevator with Jessica and DL. As they exit for the proper floor to get to the tracking system, HRG tells Jessica that Linderman is on Floor 51. Matt and HRG go to locate Molly, but Thompson comes out with a gun drawn ready to kill. As HRG is walking down the hall, Matt hears Thompson's thoughts and pulls HRG out of the bullet's way. HRG has a gun and runs around the hall, leaving Parkman alone. Just then Thompson comes up on Matt and sticks the gun to Matt's head. Thompson asks Parkman "what am I thinking now?" Just then HRG points a gun to Thompson's head and says "your last thoughts". HRG shoots Thompson twice killing him. Parkman and HRG get to the room where Molly is. HRG and Parkman enter the lab/room and behind the curtain see Molly. Matt asks if this is really the tracking system, and HRG says there is alot he wasn't told when working here. Just then Suresh clocks Parkman over the head with a gun, knocking him out. HRG points his gun at Molly as Suresh tells him to lower his weapon. HRG and Suresh remain with guns drawn, as HRG explains that as long as Molly is alive, nobody is safe.

Hiro finishes his training with his father and says he is ready to face Sylar and save Ando's life. As Hiro goes back into the shop, the shopclerk tells Hiro that his friend bought a sword and said he was going to go stop Sylar himself. Hiro's father comes out and says that if Ando went after Sylar alone, he's going to die. Jessica and DL enter Linderman's office just as he is getting off the phone. Jessica tosses Linderman across the room into a wall and asks where Micah is. DL pushes Linderman up against the wall threatening him. Linderman tells Jessica they wouldn't have Micah if Linderman hadn't created their relationship and history. Linderman tells Jessica the floor Micah is on and she begins to leave. Linderman tells her she'll never see DL again. She asks why and Linderman says because Jessica is going to kill DL for him. Linderman has Jessica open a bag full of money and says she will kill DL for money. DL pleads with her to think about why she is there. Eventually, Niki overcomes the Jessica personality and says she won't kill DL. Niki says shes loves DL. Linderman tells her she doesn't love DL. As the two are hugging, Linderman draws a gun and shoots DL in the chest. Niki cries as she sees DL fall. Linderman begins to speak to Jessica/Niki, but just then DL comes up from behind Linderman. DL shoves his fist into the back of Lindermans head, passing into Linderman's brain, and killing him. Jessica/Niki then holds a dying DL on the floor, where Linderman lays dead.

Nathan delivers his victory speech to everyone, as various heroes are shown around NYC. Nathan says the world will now become a better place with him in congress. Hiro is shown leaving his father's presence to go find Ando. Ando is shown with a map and a sword, walking through the city to find Sylar. Niki is seen with DL in her arms on the floor and Linderman laying dead near a gun. HRG and Suresh are seen, with Suresh pointing his gun at HRG and HRG pointing his gun at Molly Walker. Nathan's speech concludes, and Sylar is seen up high on a building roof, using his hands to emit radioactivity. Sylar tries each hand once, then both together, and then with a sick smile, Sylar says "Boom!".

Parkman, Ted and Bennet are all on the run together, heading for New York to take out the tracking system. Parkman goes to a payphone to call his wife, but Bennet stops him saying they need to watch their backs and not make mistakes. Parkman agrees to go along with it. Since they are in a cold wintry spot with Used Cars, Ted uses his powers to melt away the snow off the hood and jumpstart the engine. The 3 then take off for NY.

Peter is trying to convince Claire that she can't go away to Paris like her grandmother (his mother) said to. Claire said she is sick of running and just wants a normal life, but Peter tells her she is part of this and that someone is going to blow up the city. Peter does some sketches like Issac and comes up with pictures of buildings up in flames and Ted Sprague's face. Claire tells Peter that is the guy who blew up her home. Claire and Peter inform Nathan about this. Later at his campaign headquarters/office, Peter and Claire go to talk to Nathan. Claire sees Thompson, her surrogate dad's boss, in Nathan's office talking to him. In the office, Nathan is asking Thompson about Ted the nuclear bomb and why he wasn't told about this. Claire informs Peter that Thompson is the man she's been running from. Claire runs out of the office. Later on, Peter sees Claire about to leave for Paris. He tells her she is part of saving the world. Peter hands Claire a gun and asks her to shoot him in the back of the head if he ends up being the bomb. Nathan also meets with his mother later on, who tells Nathan she knows what his destiny is, and that it is to unite the world after this great tragedy that happens. She asks Nathan if she can count on him for this and then says "that's my boy".

Micah is being held captive by Candice in a hotel, where he is playing video games. Candice has disguised herself as Jessica/Niki to fool Micah into doing what Linderman asks him to. Micah says he doesn't like Linderman or the way he smells. Niki/Candice becomes angry and yells at Micah to do what he's told. Later, Micah apologizes to her for talking back. Candice/Niki tells Micah she is going to take a shower. Micah then turns up the TV, and goes over to the electronically locked door. Micah uses his powers to bypass the lock and leave the room to escape. Micah then tries a door and it ends up being the same as the hotel room he just left. He tries two more rooms, both the same. Micah then sees Candice and asks where his mom is. Candice said she can make him see whatever she wants to. Candice says she doesnt want to hurt Micah, but if he doesn't do as Linderman asks him to, she will make him see things that will mess him up for life.

Meanwhile, Jessica and DL have gone to Vegas and phased through the wall into the office/suite of Mr. Linderman. They find all sorts of paintings and records. They see a painting which shows Micah admist flames. Micah and Jessica find various records tracking their lives. DL says that their whole lives they have been sick experiments. The 2 find a calendar which notes the Petrelli election circled. They decided to head to New York to get their son back from Linderman.

Sylar is painting in Isaak's apartment and sees a picture of the exploding man. Sylar also paints a picture of himself looking at Ted Sprague, who has radioactive energy coming from his hands. Sylar realizes that he must be the bomb, after killing Ted. Sylar tries to seek help and places a call to Mohinder to tell him that he believes he is going to mass murder part of New York by exploding. Mohinder encourages Sylar to turn himself in. As they are talking, Mohinder tries to call 911, but Sylar overhears and tells Mohinder it was a mistake for him to even try to call for help.

Hiro and Ando have decided that they must stop Sylar, but Hiro is unsure how to. They look at the comic book from the future that Isaak drew which has certain frames with just bubbles and no words coming from the characters. They decide to go ask Isaak what he meant by the drawings. Ando and Hiro travel to Isaak's apartment and find him laying dead on the ground with his head cut open. Hiro tells Ando things are happening just like he saw them. Meanwhile, Sylar is in Isaak's bathroom cleaning himself up and shaving. Ando and Hiro hide behind one of Isaak's paintings. Sylar comes out into the room and then his superhearing ability hears the heartbeat of Hiro. He walks over to the painting and says "I can hear you". As Sylar uses telekinesis to make the painting move away. Hiro and Ando have vanished. The 2 then appear at a convenience store/deli. They see Sylar walk past and begin to follow him. Hiro and Ando discuss how Hiro doesnt kill Sylar until the day after the election in the comic book. Ando explains in the future that there was no Ando, because Sylar kills him, so they decide to try to kill Sylar earlier.

Sylar meets with his mother in Queens, New York. Sylar gives his mom a snowglobe and she thanks him saying she just needs Oregon to have the entire continent. Sylar notices a broken clock on the wall, which belonged to his father. He begins to try to fix it. Sylar's mother continues to nag away at Sylar about getting a job as an investment banker and doing something more meaningful then just fixing watches. Sylar becomes angry with his mom, because he doesn't want to be so special. His mom tells him he can do anything he wants and she wants him to do more. Sylar shows his mom a power, and begins using the kitchen spray hose to shoot water into the air and create snow from it. His mother starts to spin under the snow as Sylar remarks how much she loves snowglobes. Just then Sylars power begins to become demonic as his mothers snowglobes in the room start flying around her. One smashes across her face, cutting her. His mother locks herself in her room, and Sylar begs her to come back out. Sylar tells her that he thinks he is going to cause alot of destruction in New York and doesn't want to.

Sylar's mother finally comes back out but sternly tells him she is leaving the apartment, and wants him gone by the time she returns. Sylar grabs her and begs her not to do this. He tells her "its me Gabriel your son" but she tells him he's not her son. She yells for Sylar to stay away, but he continues grabbing her. She picks up a pair of scissors and tells him to back off. As the two struggle, Sylar ends up accidentally stabbing his own mother. Sylar backs away in horror. Before his mom can hit the floor, Hiro has frozen time. He enters the apartment with Sylar frozen and Sylar's mother about to hit the ground. Hiro draws his sword out and places it near Sylars neck. Hiro is hesitant to kill Sylar. Just then, time begins again, and Sylar's mother hits the ground. Sylar grabs Hiro's sword and asks Hiro who he is, because he recognizes Hiro's heartbeat from Isaak's apartment. Hiro says he is here to stop Sylar. Sylar yells for him to do it and kill him then. Sylar begins to use his freeze power and Hiro's sword begins to freeze up. Sylar tells Hiro he's too weak to kill him and now he will kill him(Hiro) instead. Just then Ando runs in with a gun pointed at Sylar, yelling to Hiro. Hiro grabs Ando with 1 hand and teleports the 2 out of there. They reappear and Hiro says he failed Ando but there are 2 more days left to kill Sylar. Hiro says that Sylar has broken the sword. The two look at the sword broken in half and come to a revelation about what must be done. Meanwhile Sylar at his mother's apartment is painting an explosion on her floor using his own mother's blood. Sylar exclaims what his mom told him "I can be anything I want, I can be president".

Thompson, Bennet's former boss meets with Suresh and asks if he's ready to come work for them. Suresh said it will be the other way around, because Suresh has the list and more information that Thompson's agency needs. Thompson says he has no real choice and brings Suresh into their laboratory to meet Molly. Molly's parents were murdered at the hands of Sylar but she escaped thanks to Thompson's people. Thompson mentions that Molly has a very special ability but that she can't use it at the moment because she has become very sick. Mohinder yells at Thompson for trying to trick him into helping out because of this girl. Thompson tells Suresh that this girl is the only one able to stop Sylar. Suresh begins to befriend the girl and work on a cure to help her cells heal. Suresh tells her he never met his sister who died from the same condition and that he couldn't save her in time. Suresh vows to save Molly, and also learns that she is capable of just thinking about someone and she can locate them, wherever they are. She give Suresh a piece of paper with a star on it and tells him it will protect him from "the Boogeyman" aka Sylar. Suresh finally gives Molly the cure to help her heal back.

Peter and Claire are in downtown New York City looking for Ted. Claire is seeing all the people and couples around and becomes sad. Peter asks her whats wrong and she says she's not normal, and that because of her, her family is all messed up now. She said when she met Peter she finally felt that maybe she was part of something. Peter tells her he felt the same way. Just then, Claire sees 3 men walking across the way. One is HRG, her surrogate dad. Claire says "Dad" and runs over to him. Peter walks over to the 3 men, as Claire and HRG are hugging. Parkman walks over towards Peter, but just then Peter's hands begin to glow with radiation because he is nearby Ted. Peter is unable to stop his hands from glowing and Ted asks "whats he doing?". HRG says Peter is absorbing Ted's power and he has to contain it. Peter's hands continue to glow with radiation as the show ends.

This episode of Heroes finds us five years into the future. Hiro and Ando are visiting Isaak Mendez' apartment and find a timeline of events, newspaper clippings and photos. Hiro comes face to face with the "Future Hiro", who reveals that New
York saw the explosion because the heroes couldn't kill Sylar and stop him from exploding. Hiro tells future Hiro that the cheerleader was saved, which puts a smile on Future Hiro's face. Future Hiro tells Ando and Hiro he made the timeline to determine the precise point in time to travel back to kill Sylar and prevent the explosion. He tells Hiro he will have to get him back to this point in time using his time travel power. Just then, armed men burst into the apartment. Future Hiro and Ando manage to escape, but present/past Hiro is captured by Matt Parkman, who is now the head of Homeland Security.

Future Hiro and Ando determine they must visit Las Vegas to meet with Peter Petrelli's girlfriend in an effort to get him to help them get back to the present and save the world. The 2 meet with Jessica, who is now a stripper in a club, and Peter's girlfriend. Jessica offers a private dance, but Future Hiro says they need Peter's help. Future Hiro asks Jessica where Bennet is, and she says still roping cattle. Future Hiro mentions Sylar, who apparently took the lives of DL and Micah, causing Jessica to became angry. Jessica leaves and Peter appears near her, upset about their visit. The two then embrace.

Matt Parkman is now working for homeland security and has the Haitian working with him. Parkman attempts to interrogate Hiro to determine what he knows. Parkman also contacts the current president, Nathan Petrelli. Nathan has just finished meeting with Mohinder Suresh to discuss the extinction of the heroes, because of the problems they are causing for others, since the explosion. Mohinder discusses the notion that Nathan is just like them. HRG is now working to help keep people with special powers safe from being taken captive. He is meeting with a family and a
young boy who has special abilities. He gives him a blood test and then a special vile of solution to use as a "dummy sample" in case Homeland security or police ever try to determine if he's "one of the special people". Hiro and Ando meet with HRG, and urge him to help them get past Homeland security. Future Hiro mentions Candice and DL, and needing their help to get in. Ando tells HRG that Hiro is the reason Claire is still alive now, and this convinces HRG to help them.

Later HRG shows up at a diner in Midland, TX, where Claire is now a waitress, wearing the nametag "Sandy". Claire has a serious boyfriend and they discuss how they are getting married soon. Claire's boyfriend mentions to her the "creepy guy with glasses" is back. Claire goes over to freshen his coffee, and HRG tells her she needs to get out of this place immediately, because its not safe anymore. Claire says she just wants a normal life and is getting married, despite HRG asking her to take a bag he has for her and get out of there. Ando and Future Hiro are meeting back at an apartment, and Ando is asking about what happens to him in the future. Before Future Hiro can tell him, Matt Parkman bursts in with agents, and hits Future Hiro in the chest with a Tazer. Out of nowhere, Peter Petrelli appears and uses several powers, including the power to freeze time. Peter takes hold of Ando and Future Hiro and teleports them out of the room away from Parkman and his men.

Later, Peter is with Ando and Future Hiro, Peter tells Ando that he is supposed to be dead as a result of the bomb. Ando is shocked by this as Peter tells him he thinks that is why Future Hiro is trying to go back to save the world so badly. Niki/Jessica enters the room and sees them all there, then turns and leaves, causing Peter to go after her.

Parkman meets with HRG to discuss Hiro Nakamura escaping. Parkman mentions about keeping Claire safe as well as his own son from harm. Parkman asks HRG if he's heard from Janice recently. HRG gives him a folded up crayon drawing done by
"Matthew" who appears to be Parkman's son. Parkman thanks HRG for all he's done, but then turns on him and pushes HRG down with a gun to his throat. Parkman says he's ending their arrangement, as he attempts to read HRG's mind and find Claire.
Just then a gunshot sounds. Parkman later finds Claire at the Midland, Texas diner she is working at, shortly after Claire has told her boyfriend she wants to elope.

Suresh and Nathan are at Isaak's apartment looking at the timeline. Nathan asks what it's all about, and Suresh says Hiro has found a way to go back into a point in time and stop the explosion and all the problems it brings. Nathan tells Suresh he wants him to being using the "reversal" syringe to start extinction/putting down of heroes. Nathan asks if he can trust Suresh and Suresh says of course, just as Matt Parkman enters. Parkman informs them he has found a 2nd Hiro Nakamura, and the
younger one, who has memory gaps. Parkman also tells Nathan he has found Claire. Nathan later meets with Claire at the Petrelli Mansion. Claire is upset with her father, as he begins talking in an evil almost eery way to her. He tells her a girl named Candice allowed him to become president, and he is now just eliminating the competition. As Claire turns to leave, she is all of a sudden frozen in her tracks. Sylar appears, as he had been taking the appearance of Nathan. He begins to cut into Claire's brain, saying "I've been waiting a long time for this".

Future Hiro, Ando and Peter all go to the Homeland Security building where Hiro is being held captive. Future Hiro and Peter are able to use their powers and fighting abilites to take out guards. They realize their powers are useless with the Haitian up there to block them. Suresh enters the room where Hiro is being held with the syringe ready to put into Hiro. Hiro begins yelling for him not to do this because he needs to go back in time and save things. Suresh motions for Haitian to hold down Hiro. Just then Suresh jabs the syringe into Haitian's neck, causing him to slump over. Suresh tells Hiro he will get him to a safe spot so he can teleport back and change things. Future Hiro, Peter and Ando burst into the room, with Hiro and Ando united again. Future Hiro tells Hiro he must get him back to the correct moment in time now, but just then, 2 gunshots are heard and Future Hiro falls to the ground, dead. Parkman is there with his gun up, but before he can get any more shots off, Peter uses his power to close the bulletproof door on him.

Parkman makes a call to President Petrelli (aka Sylar) who is holding a special memorial service for the victims lost 5 years ago in the explosion. Parkman informs the President that he can't get to Hiro, because his brother, Peter is keeping the room sealed off. Parkman tells the President he needs reinforcements. Just then Nathan/Sylar ends the phone call and bursts up into into the air in a missile like flight, as the crowd gasps at this revelation. Sylar arrives at the holding cell, and is able to reach through the sealed door and pull Peter out. He uses his power to send him flying down the hallway, and informs Parkman to go in and take care of Suresh, Hiro and Ando. Nathan then walks down the hallway towards Peter and reveals he is really Sylar. Peter tells Sylar that Hiro's going to go back in time and change all this. Sylar says when Hiro returns back in time he turns on his own kind. Sylar begins to wield what appears to be Ted's radioactive powers, and Peter also starts to emit some sort of energy from his hands. The two begin to do battle in the hallway causing immenses bursts/explosions.

Suresh is trying to hold the door closed, as Ando and Hiro manage to teleport back to their present day. Hiro pulls out a 9th Wonder comic he brought back with him from the future which shows him slicing into Sylar with his sword, and Hiro says "now, the hard part".

A recap of Episode 19 of Heroes, airing April 23, 2007

Linderman is discussing his art collection with Nathan Petrelli. He tells Nathan of the future and of his grand plans to be remembered as a "humanitarian". Linderman shows Nathan that he also has a special power. Linderman walks over to a dead
flower and uses his hand to magically bring the dead flower to life. Linderman tells Nathan his plan is to decimate a part of the population and that good will rise up from the ashes to do something great for humanity. Linderman tells Nathan he will win the election and may secure a spot in the White House. Lindermanreveals a photo to Nathan showing him in office. Nathan leaves Linderman's meeting calling him insane.

Sylar and Peter face off in Mohinder Suresh's apartment. As Sylar pins Peter to the wall he begins to use his powers to start cutting into Peter's skull/brain to see how he works. Peter is able to use the power of regeneration and then telekinesis to throw Sylar back against the wall. Peter stands up and turns invisible. Sylar uses his power to bring glass shards up from the floor and toss them in Peter's direction. One share hits the invisible Peter in the back of the head, and he falls to the ground. As Sylar stands over near Peter, Suresh hurls a large piece of furniture into Sylar, causing him to be briefly knocked out. Mohinder is able to leave the apartment with both the list and Peter Petrelli's body. Sylar wakes up at Suresh's apartment and is outraged when he finds that the list has been taken. Sylar finds one pice of info which gives him Isaak Mendez' location.

HRG, Matt Parkman and Ted Sprague are all still being held captive at Primatech. A fake Claire (the female impersonator) comes in to see HRG. HRG realizes its not his real daughter. Just then his former boss comes into the cell and tells HRG they
will get the info from him and right now they are being "nice" with their methods. HRG later begins to send thoughts to Parkman in the other cell. HRG is able to think out a plan of action for Parkman to follow to break out Ted Sprague. Sprague is reluctant to go along but Parkman convinces him. Sprague uses part of his power to disrupt the power in the Primatech cells/building. Sprague and Parkman then rush in to break HRG out, and then 3 leave together. Later at a diner, the 3 discuss
how they must destroy the source of the agency's power, which lies in New York. Parkman mentions the name Linderman as the main boss to HRG, who asks where Parkman got that name. HRG and Parkman both realize that HRG was in the dark about who he was working for.

Suresh receives a visit from HRG's former boss, Thomspon. Suresh discusses the Sylar problem with him and says his goal is to stop him. Thompson explains the best thing for them to do is to work together to stop this problem.

Isaak is seen at his apartment with a delivery/messenger boy. Isaak gives him a copy of the 9th Wonder comic pages and tells him its the last. The boy asks why, but Isaak is unclear. He also gives the boy a sketchbook and tells him it might come in handy. Later, Sylar arrives at Isaaks apartment to murder him. Isaak tells Sylar he has grown sick of seeing the future as it plays out and he has lost all that was good for him. He tells Sylar he is going to die but was still able to show the heroes how to kill Sylar and how to stop the bomb. Sylar pins Isaak to the floor and then cuts into his skull and brain to steal his power.

Niki and DL are talking outside of their home and DL tells her he can't keep having the Jessica/Niki personalities and the involvement with Linderman. He tells her she needs to choose and it will be their son she is choosing for. Just then, some of
Linderman's men show up and ask Niki/Jessica to come with them to talk to Linderman. Jessica meets with Linderman who informs her that he will need the use of her son, Micah's, special ability because his plans have fallen through. Jessica tells
Linderman her son is not part of the deal and he can send as many men as he wants but he won't be getting her son. Later,

Niki/Jessica is seen with Micah at their home. Micah is asking why she picked him up from school so early. Niki tells Micah its a special day and an important man wants to meet him to discuss his talents. Linderman and his men are waiting to talk to Micah. Linderman shakes Micah's hand and then next thing Micah is riding off with Linderman in a car. Niki turns out to be the woman from Primatech, Candice, who can take on any appearance. Just then Niki/Jessica pulls up to the house as Candice is walking past her and tells her "nice car".

Meanwhile, Claire is with her grandmother, Nathan and Peter's mother. She explains that she has protected Claire for a long time now and doesn't want her living the life she has had to deal with. She tells Claire that she will want her to go away to Paris, while her father, Nathan concentrates on winning the election. Claire is unhappy with the situation and her grandmother. Later, Suresh shows up and informs Peter's mother that Peter has been killed. Suresh leaves the body with her apologizing for things as she tells Suresh to just leave. Claire later sees Peter lying dead, as Nathan also shows up to find his dead brother. Nathan begins to mourn over the loss. Claire manages to pull the glass shard out of the back of Peter's head and Peter's eyes open as he comes back to life. Peter tells Claire she saved his life and Claire says they are even now. Later, Peter and Nathan discuss
the recent events and how everything is happening as it was predicted. Peter encourages Nathan to talk to his daughter and be part of her life because she wants to know her father. Nathan has a private chat with Claire to tell her he wants to be there for her, but can't right now due to politics and the election. He says he wants to do good things despite many peoples' bad opinion
of him. Nathan encourages Claire to go to Paris for just 1 week with her grandmother.

Sylar is seen in Isaak's apartment painting various pictures including a darker one of Nathan in office. Sylar grins as he continues painting and the painting of the blown up world is shown. Time advances 5 years into the future, and Hiro and Ando are up on the pigeon coop rooftop of Isaak's apartment looking out at a decimated New York City. Hiro is saying he must have failed due to this happening and so many people must have died. Ando tells Hiro he has his sword now, so that means he has his power. Hiro and Ando discuss how they can teleport back and fix their mistakes to save things. Hiro exclaims to Ando that in the past the "brain man" was caught, so maybe Isaac is still alive. Ando and Hiro leave the rooftop and go to Isaak's apartment. The two find an eery setting, with a torn up apartment and a timeline of newspaper clippings showing the events which happened. Included are the winning of the election by Nathan Petrelli and the tragic explosion that decimated New York. Just then Hiro hears a sound like a sword being drawn. He draws his sword from his back and then faces what appears to be a futuristic version of himself. The futuristic version speaks and says "You", as Hiro stands confused staring at a futuristic version of himself.

Recap of the 2.5.07 Episode of Heroes, Chapter 18, entitled "Parasite", by characters..

Claire is on the run traveling with the Haitian. She asks about where they are heading to but Haitian is not clear on it yet. He informs Claire she probably won't see her surrogate father, HRG, again. Haitian makes a stop at a truck stop along the way and speaks French to someone on a payphone. Haitian then informs Claire they must leave the country. At the airport, Claire manages to swipe the Haitian's ticket and passport. Claire enters through security first and throws Haitian's passport and ticket in the garbage, leaving Haitian stuck to deal with security. Claire ends up at a door in a hallway and knocks. As the door opens, Claire says she must have the wrong address, she is looking for Peter Petrelli. The woman who answers tells her its the right place. We see that the woman is Peter and Nathan's mother. Haitian is also present and speaks French to the woman. She tells Claire she's stubborn, just like her father.

Nathan is at his office and gets a visit from several FBI agents. They tell Nathan they want him to head to visit with Linderman and to wear a wire so they can finally nab him. Nathan eventually agrees to do so. Once the agents have left, Peter appears, as he has been invisible inside the office. Peter informs Nathan that he was responsible for Isaak shooting Simone. Peter tells Nathan he doesn't know what he's going to do. Nathan tells Peter he will make an anonymous call to the authorities to go check out Isaak's apartment. Just then an FBI agent re-enters the office and Peter disappears before Nathan can stop him.

HRG is with his boss who has been questioning him about the whereabouts of Claire. We also see Matt Parkman restrained in a chair. Parkman tells HRG's boss that HRG is telling the truth about not knowing about Claire. Parkman asks to be released since they had a deal, but the boss tells Parkman in time. HRG gets home and tells his wife that he has to take a trip out of town. His wife turns on some opera music and begins telling HRG that he asked her to talk to him about Claire. Since HRG's memory was wiped, he has trouble remembering the conversation. His wife gives him a note saying "Claire is with friends". As HRG is preparing to leave, his new partner arrives. HRG meets his new partner, a woman with special abilities from Primatech. She tells HRG the company has an assignment for them to handle. The woman is assigned to work with him and they head to New York. The woman appears in Isaak's apartment and takes the form of Simone. HRG says as far as everyone knows Simone has been on an extended trip out in Europe. HRG tells Isaak to keep painting. Later on, Isaak does several paintings, which reveal him with the top of his head chopped off. Also later on, HRG returns home to his wife and they begin talking about Claire again. HRG reveals more than he should about things and it ends up that his wife is not his wife, but his new partner, the woman who can take the appearance of others. HRG's boss also appears in the room staring at HRG.

Niki is confronted by DL at their home when DL brings a photo of Nathan Petrelli to her. DL asks Niki what is going on, but Niki downplays it and lies to him, saying its nothing. DL warns Niki not to do anything stupid. Niki travels to Vegas, where she has been assigned to kill Nathan. In Vegas, Hiro is at Linderman's hotel/establishment and is trying to steal the real sword he needs. Hiro is tossed out of the hotel by security who have flagged him as a card cheat from his previous visit with Ando. Hiro eventually bumps into Nathan Petrelli who has come to the hotel to wear a wire and catch Linderman for the FBI. Hiro asks Nathan for help in getting up to see Linderman. Nathan talks to security and gets Hiro up to the curator. Hiro presents the fake sword case from the museum in NY to the curator/desk worker. When the desk worker leaves for a moment, Hiro quickly pushes a ladder on wheels over to the cabinet and climbs up to retrieve the real sword. As Hiro gets to the top, the man returns with a control in his hand and alerts security, telling Hiro he won't be able to escape with so many security guards working there. Just then Ando appears dressed as a security guard and knocks out the man. Hiro is amazed to see his friend return in triumphant fashion. The two place a large cabinet in front of the door to the room, but it won't hold for long. Hiro decides to teleport them away, and ends up teleporting them into the future. They are up on top of the Deveaux rooftop/pigeon coop area, overlooking the remains of a blownup and destroyed New York City. Hiro remarks that they didn't achieve their mission.

Meanwhile Niki has infiltrated the same hotel where Nathan and Linderman are. Niki enters the room of the FBI agents who are listening to Nathan's wire. Niki's alter ego, Jessica, ends up shooting and killing the 2 FBI agents. Niki bumps into Nathan. Niki tells Nathan that he needs to knock her out before Jessica returns, so that Nathan can take the gun to kill Linderman. Hesitant at first, Nathan finally punches Niki in the face knocking her out. Nathan retrieves her gun and goes to meet with Linderman in the kitchen of his hotel's restaraunt. Linderman is there cooking, and lectures Nathan on how so many people want to be perfect but can never attain it or happiness. Nathan pulls out the gun and is about to kill Linderman, until Linderman informs Nathan he has such a bright future ahead of him, and will even end up in the white house in many years. Linderman tells Nathan shooting him will be a very bad decision for him and that Linderman knows about the fact Nathan can fly and about Nathan's daughter as well as Peter's "issues". Nathan puts the gun down.

Finally, Suresh is with Sylar at his apartment. Sylar has been posing as another hero, who he murdered just days ago. Suresh hands Sylar a special cup of Chi tea, and tells Sylar its something his father used to make. Just then Sylar grows woozy, and collapses, as Suresh has laced the tea with a sedative. Sylar awakes strapped into the chair with an IV drip. Suresh reveals that he knows that he is Sylar, and shows him a computer screen talking about the murder of the hero Sylar killed a few days ago. Suresh bangs a tuning fork next to Sylar's ear to irritate his "super hearing" power he stole from the female hero he murdered. Suresh tells Sylar he is going to finish his father's work and extracts a spinal tap sample from him, as Sylar screams in pain. Suresh eventually determines from the sample that he can maybe help cure the heroes. Sylar begins talking to Suresh about how he murdered his father and angers Suresh, who pulls a gun on him. Suresh goes to take revenge and kill off Sylar, but Sylar reveals that his powers still work, as he stops the bullet in flight and it drops to the ground. Sylar then undoes his restraints and gets up going after Suresh. Later, Peter Petrelli enters the apartment looking for Suresh. He calls out for him several times and then stops in one part of the room as blood drips down on him. He looks up to see Suresh pinned to the ceiling bleeding. Suresh mouths "Sy-lar" to Peter. Just then Sylar enters and shoves Peter up against the wall holding him by his neck. Sylar tells Peter he knows he is like him and wants to see how it works. Sylar begans to cut open Peter's head, and we see a lock of Peter's hair fall to the floor.

Recap of episode 17 which aired on NBC on 2.26.07. This episode mainly featured the Bennett family, Matt Parkman, Ted Sprague as well as flashbacks involving Mr. Bennett and his "company" from 7-15 years ago from present time.

Mr. Muggles is seen running down the stairs, as we then see something melting the doorknob/lock to the door to the Bennett's house. Enter Ted Sprague and Matt Parkman. Matt begins looking for files then finds a personal computer in Mr. Bennett's office of the home. Ted says they should wait for him to get there and then take him hostage because it's easier to get answers from inside Bennett's head. Matt disagrees saying he'd prefer to do it at Mr. Bennett's actual company. Unfortunately an SUV pulls up with all of the Bennett's in it. Ted says they will have to take hostages, and Matt unfortunately must partake.

As the Bennett's enter, Mr. Bennett tells Lyle, Claire's brother to escort Mrs Bennett upstairs. Mr. Bennett asks to have a word with Claire. As they talk Claire says she cant runaway because she has to stick around to protect the rest of the family from Mr. Bennett. Just then, Ted Sprague appears from the kitchen. HRG tells Lyle to get Mrs. Bennett out of the house, but unfortunately Matt Parkman is there and clicks a gun, aiming at Mr. Bennett and saying they want answers.

Through a series of black and white flashbacks we see that Mr. Bennett goes to work for "Primatech" Paper Company which is merely a front for some sort of special agency that is tracking down various advanced DNA humans, capturing them and bringing them back to study. In some cases they are killing the most dangers of them. Mr. Bennett is informed by his boss, who remains nameless, that he will be dealing in a lot of "morally grey" areas. Mr. Bennett is introduced to his partner, who appears out of nowhere sitting near him. It is Claude, who is currently Peter's mentor, the invisible man. Mr. Bennett is shocked at the appearance of this man, but soon learns there are many more different people out there.

Mr. Bennett meets with Hiro's father as well, who appears to be a higher up in the company. Mr. Bennett speaks with him at in Japanese. Hiro is present playing on a gameboy or small portable video game device. Mr. Bennett informs Mr Nakamura that he believes Claire's real mother died in the fire. His father, gives Mr. Bennett a special child, realizing that Mr and Mrs Bennett have had trouble conceiving. At first Mr. Bennett doesn't want the burden, but he is convinced to accept the baby girl. Hiro's father informs him that if she becomes to great for him, they will take her back in. It is mentioned that the baby, Claire, was rescued from a fire disaster started by Claire's mother when HRG and Claude tried to "bag a firestarter".

We meet a young Haitian boy, who Mr. Bennett learns can make people forget. Mr. Bennett enlists him to make Mrs. Bennett forget about some tranquilizer guns she discovered in a bag Mr. Bennett had. We also learn that HRG's partner, Claude betrays the motives of this organization, because Claude is one of those with powers and doesn't want to betray others like him. The agency decides to have Mr. Bennett kill Claude because Claude was hiding "one of them". Mr. Bennett brings Claude to a bridge in the middle of nowhere, and asks Claude to name the person he is protecting, but Claude says he refuses to hunt his own people. HRG then shoots Claude at least 3 times. Claude then turns invisible. It is unknown if he fell over the side of the bridge, but based upon current episodes, Claude is not quite as dead as they thought.

Back in the Bennett home, Ted is becoming more angry over what HRG did to him. Matt is trying to read minds, and sequesters Claire in a separate part of the home. He reads her mind and understands she can heal, she also thinks of Peter Petrelli, and Matt makes the connection that Peter said to protect her "Save the cheerleader, save the world". Matt confronts HRG, but HRG begins to think in Japanese. Ted becomes increasingly angry over this all and with his gun, points it at Mrs. Bennett, threatening to shoot her if HRG doesn't cooperate more. Matt pleads with Ted to calm down. HRG begins to think and thinks "Parkman shoot Claire, she can heal, you have to trust me". Parkman is conflicted over this but eventually as things escalate he follows HRG's order. Parkman fires a shot into Claire who appears dead. HRG then thinks for Parkman to gain Ted's trust. Matt tells Ted he had to shoot Claire so HRG knows they mean business. Matt has HRG help him move Claire's body up to her room so she can heal and regenerate without Ted seeing this. Eventually as Claire comes to, she is upset at HRG and yells at him again about having to "play dead", but HRG says its to protect the family. HRG informs Claire that she would have been taken away by now by people and the family never would have seen her again. Claire agrees to go along with the plan.

Back downstairs, HRG says he has the information they want is back at the paper company. In an attempt to convince Ted to go along, Matt suggests he will stick around and keep an eye on the hostages. Ted tells Matt that he will stay and Matt can go with HRG to the paper company. At the lab, Matt goes with HRG who informs him that the only thing Ted's going to get is a tranquilizer. HRG signals for the Haitian and then begins to argue with Haitian about not erasing Claire's mind when he told him to. Haitian informs HRG that someone in Claire's life, asked Haitian to keep Claire protected for personal interests.

Back at the Bennett household, Claire climbs out of her window and goes back downstairs. Ted goes upstairs after hearing a noise. While Claire is freeing her mother and brother, Ted discovers that Claire has put stuffed animals in her bed. Ted storms back downstairs as Claire's mother and brother are running. Claire's brother gets outside, but her mom stays in and Ted grabs Claire and puts his hand on her throat. Mrs. Bennett sees Claire survive terrible burns to her throat, which then magically heal. Ted duck tapes Mrs Bennett and Claire up in the living room. Mrs. Bennett tells Claire she prayed for her to live and now she sees how special God made her. Mrs. Bennett and Claire discuss how HRG has lied throughout their whole family's existence. Mrs. Bennett said she has faith in her husband and he will come back to save them. Ted becomes suspicious of Parkman and HRG because of the fact they shot Claire knowing she can't die.

When Matt and HRG arrive back to the home, Ted has his hands charged up and HRG tells him he has a file of information on Ted. Ted continues to blame HRG for not keeping him captive, because Ted killed his own wife due to his radioactivity. HRG explains he would have had to kill him and apologizes for this. It is determined HRG wasn't responsible for making the Heroes, just part of the company that takes them in for study. HRG tells Ted he will hand over the file to him, but that the people he works for could kill him for this. HRG asks for his family to be set free. Lyle, Mrs. Bennett and Claire flee from the home into the yard. Matt and HRG remain inside to bargain with Ted. Out of nowhere, HRG's boss appears from the back door, gun in hand. He fires a shot at Ted as HRG pleads for him not to. This causes Ted to go into nuclear meltdown mode. Matt rushes over to calm Ted but the radioactive bursts send Parkman and HRG both flying. Parkman is able to escape, but HRG remains inside with a tranquilizer.

Claire after hearing the shot and seeing the house becoming full of light, rushes back in to assist her surrogate dad. HRG urges for her to get out of there, Claire says not without him. HRG realizes he can't get close enough to Ted to inject him. Claire takes the tranquilizer and says she will do it. Parkman re-enters the home and gets HRG out, as Claire runs towards Ted with the tranquilizer. The family outside on the lawn with Parkman and HRG's boss sees the house explode. Moments later, a burnt up Claire emerges from the front door and begins to heal before everyone's eyes.

Back at Primatech HRG and his boss talk about the Haitian and Claire. HRG's boss asks if he knows where Haitian may have gone, but HRG says no idea. He says Claire trusted Haitian more than her own father. HRG's boss asks when Claire will be brought in, and HRG says right now. Ted Sprague is seen strapped down to a table in one holding chamber in the lab. HRG's boss informs him that they will see what gives Ted his spark and then its inferred they will kill him next. Matt Parkman is seen in a seperate room. HRG informs his boss that Parkman was a good man and very helpful. HRG's boss said it would be very useful to have a partner like Parkman, who knows what everyone around him is thinking. Another woman is seen in the room and HRG's boss informs him that she will clean up the mess as she is a gifted and has great potential.

HRG drives Claire to the same bridge where Claude was shot. During the trip Claire asks where she is going and HRG says he's not sure. A flashback is seen where HRG puts on the famous "Horn Rimmed Glasses" with Claire present and she tells him he looks like her dad. As they get to the bridge, Haitian is waiting for them. HRG and Haitian have concocted a plan to make it look like Haitian shoots HRG and then erases his memories of Claire, then kidnaps her. Claire asks if there's any another way. Haitian says they can't have any doubt cast on HRG. Claire turns around and covers her ears as HRG is shot in the stomach by Haitian. Claire turns and runs to HRG and hugs him, sobbing. The show ends as Mr. Bennett tells the Haitian to go deep and take away any memories that will them lead to Claire. Haitian places his hand over HRG's head.

Ando is driving Hope away from Vegas but doesn't realize shes a criminal/fugitive who robbed the casino. Ando questions why they are at a airport area and Hope tells Ando to stop asking so many questions. Ando goes to help Hope with her bag and she tells him she will get it. The two end up ripping the bag open and spilling stolen casino chips all over the back of the car. Ando is confused and then Hope pulls a gun on him. Meanwhile, Hiro has been let out of his locked storage closet by the gaming commission's agent from the Vegas Casino Hotel. The agent and Hiro take a road trip to find Ando and Hope. They pull up on Hope as she has the gun drawn. The gaming agent, pulls out a rifle and gun and opens fire. During the gunfight, Ando gets hit. Hiro uses a luggage cart to move into the line of fire and save Ando. The two race to a luggage cart and hide out there while Hope and the agent shoot back and forth at each other. Eventually Hope comes over to where Ando and Hiro are hiding out and points the gun at Hiro. She fires, but just then Hiro's power resurfaces and the bullet stops mid-air, then goes back into the gun. The gaming agent tackles Hope and police descend on her. Hiro realizes that his power works again as he sees the car they had been using is unscratched now. After the melee, Hiro tells Ando that Ando should go back home because Hiro has put him in danger with his mission. Hiro gets on a bus headed for Vegas alone, as Ando with his arm in a sling waves goodbye to his friend.

Sylar and Mohinder go to meet the first of the hero names on their list, a woman working in an older auto garage. They come up to the woman who is doing some welding and wearing an IPOD and headphones. Mohinder explains why they came to see her, based on her DNA sample she gave 11 years ago for the Human Genome Project. The woman's power is revealed to be extra-sensitive hearing, she can hear sounds loud and clear from far distances, including a person's mood by their heartbeat. She is hesitant to talk to them at first. Sylar posing as Zane Taylor takes a wrench and shows the woman his ability to melt it down. The woman is amazed someone is like her and then agrees to let Mohinder and Sylar come back the next AM to test her. When Mohinder and Sylar are checking into hotel rooms later that night. Sylar stops to discuss the work they are doing. Mohinder mentions that a character named Sylar murdered his father. Sylar becomes interested and says its awful what happened and that he hopes Mohinder can find this man. Later on, Sylar is seen back at the garage where the woman is working. She hears him coming with her extra hearing ability. She tells Sylar she didnt hear him in there and he says its because he has no footsteps. The woman then hears Sylar's heart beating strange and asks what that sound in his heart is. He tells the woman "Murder". The next morning Sylar and Mohinder pull up to the woman's garage. Sylar's newly acquired power is causing him to hear everything at extra loud volumes. The music blaring from the garage is disrupting him, so he tells Mohinder he'll stay in the car. Mohinder enters the garage and sees the woman has been brutally murdered with her head cut off. Mohinder fights back the urge to vomit. Sylar goes over and sees it as well and pretends he's disturbed. Mohinder is ready to call the police, but Sylar convinces him to hold off as they leave the scene.

Meanwhile Ted Sprague is still out in a abandoned cabin in the Nevada dessert practicing with his radioactivity. All of a sudden his laptop comes on and he is getting instant messages from "Wireless". He is amazed at this because he doesn't have internet service out where he is. The IM says that the person knows what they have done to him, and an image of a special injector gun appears on screen. Ted types in "we should meet" and the next message says "behind you". A woman is in the cabin and Ted is shocked. She tells him she knows what happened to them. She tells them they can work together to go nuke the guys who did this to them. Ted agrees.

Matt Parkman is at home with his wife and she discovers a new ring in their clothes drawer where Matt has hidden the diamonds Moskey left behind before he was killed. Matt's wife is shocked at him buying such a pricey ring. Matt tells her he got it from a guy he knows at wholesale. Later, Matt's wife confronts Matt saying she took the ring to be re-sized and the jeweler said it was worth $40,000 and accused her of stealing it. She asks Matt for the truth and he eventually tells her where it all came from. Matt's wife is unhappy with this whole situation, so Matt says he will go bring the diamonds to the station right then. Just then, a phone call comes through and it is a stranger asking Matt to meet up somewhere. Matt tells his wife he needs to rush off immediately. Matt goes to a graveyard and Ted Sprague is there. Sprague and his new female friend, Wireless tell Matt about Primatech (HRG's operation) and how they had special pneumatic needles sent there from overseas. Sprague tells Matt they need his help to find the guy who did this to them. Matt tells them his wife is pregnant and he wants to forget about all this. They tell Matt he needs to confront this so they can stop it and be heroes possibly.

Claire is at home with her adoptive mom who recently had lashed out at Claire and Mr Muggles and acted as if she remembered nobody in the house. Claire's mom has her memory back. Claire tries to talk to her mom about being brainwashed by HRG, but Claire's mother is very skeptical and tells Claire HRG is doing the best he can, they just need to await the Neurologist's tests. As Claire's mom walks into the kitchen with a jug of milk, she collapses on the floor. Claire rushes to her side and begins to cry. Claire calls HRG telling him he needs to come home right away because she just called 911 for Mrs. Bennett.

Peter is still training with Claude. Claude is swinging a cane/stick at Peter and hitting him with it, knocking him around on the rooftop. Claude is encouraging Peter to use his powers to prevent this. Eventually, after being struck many times, Peter taps into his telekinesis ability and stops the stick mid air. He then breaks the stick in 2. Claude is amazed and asked where Peter picked that up. Peter explains it was the guy chasing Claire in Texas who threw lockers at him. Later on, Peter and Claude are on the same rooftop at night time. HRG and Haitian appear with night vision goggles and special guns and shoot at Claude, leaving a tracer or tranquilizer in him. 2 more bullets are fired at Peter, but Peter uses his abilities to stop them in the air, almost Matrix style. Peter tosses Claude off the roof and then leaps after him grabbing him from the air and flying them off. Once Peter has Claude back to safety, Claude punches Peter and tells him its his fault these guys are after Claude, because they followed Peter. Claude realizes they must have gotten to Isaak. Peter doubts it until Claude explains usually one of the special people disappears off the face of the earth, then resurfaces and is working for them. Claude tells Peter he can't be around him anymore and has to get out of there. Peter tells him he was making good progress on his training though, but Claude says he'll need to do it alone now. Claude disappears out the door.

Isaak meanwhile has already showed HRG and Haitian the paintings he made of Peter, or the lack of Peter. HRG explains Peter inherits other heroes' abilities and has met an invisible friend they thought was dead. HRG gives Isaak a gun after explaining how dangerous Peter is. Isaak asks HRG what he should do if Peter shows up and HRG says "Save the world". Simone also visits with Isaak and Isaak tries to warn Simone that Peter is a threat now. Simone goes to give Isaak back the key she has to his apartment. Isaak tells her to keep it and tells her he would do anything for her. Simone tells Isaak to find Peter.

Peter later finds Isaak in his apartment and confronts him about being a traitor. Isaak starts to blame Peter for Simone leaving him. Peter says it was Isaak's own fault for being a druggie and leaving town on her. Isaak goes for the gun he has but Peter is able to use telekinesis to deflect the shots away. Peter turns invisible and begins to toss paint buckets at Isaak. Isaak spins around looking for Peter and yells for him to show himself. Isaak fires shots but ends up hitting Simone who has just entered Isaak's doorway. Peter rushes to her as she dies in his arms, and Isaak also comes to her side. The 2 look at each other as Simone lies dying in Peter's arms.

Claire is at the hospital with Mrs Bennett who is in bed on a respirator. The Nurse explains to Claire that Mrs Bennett has a bruise on her brain that causes memory loss. Claire tries to tell the nurse about Haitian and how he can erase memory with his hands. The nurse is overly skeptical and says she needs to talk to Claire's father about this. As HRG returns to the hospital to check on everyone, he goes to have a talk with Claire about what Claire told the nurse. Claire has an outburst and yells at HRG telling him its his fault this has happened to Mrs. Bennett because he keeps messing with her brain. Claire tells HRG sorry isn't good enough. HRG explains to Claire how Sylar escaped and came looking for Claire but found her mom instead, so HRG erased her memory because she is fragile. Claire is still angry at HRG as they return home with Mrs. Bennett. As they are entering the home, HRG tells Claire's brother to escort Mrs Bennett upstairs.

As HRG is talking to Claire, Claire says she wants to run away but can't because she has to protect the family from HRG. Just then Ted Sprague appears from the kitchen. HRG sees him and yells for Claire's brother to get out of the house with Mrs. Bennett. As they try to leave, Matt Parkman appears as does Wireless also with a gun. Matt explains they are there to get answers, as the 3 "heroes" hold the Bennet's captive in their home.

Peter is still with his new friend/mentor, Claude, who has the power of invisibility. Claude says he will teach Peter to use his powers without being around the people who bring them out in him. Claude gives Peter a test, while walking down busy New York streets, Claude grabs a purse from a young woman and hands it to Peter. Claude takes off and tells Peter to try to use his power without him around. As Claude leaves, Peter re-appears and the woman looks at Peter in disgust. After Peter gets away he confronts Claude angrily saying he could have been arrested. Claude explains that Peter needs to learn to see the world properly and get rid of all the family connections clouding his brain. Peter says he cant cut off those he loves, Claude explains the world is full of people with shady intentions, and says he will prove it by taking Peter to see the one he cares most about now and what she (Simone) is doing while he is not with her.

Hiro and Ando were in the presence of Hiro's father, an important businessman back in Hiro's country. It's learned that Hiro's father owns the company Hiro is with. His father is outraged at the painting showing Hiro and the Sword and T-Rex. Hiro explains to his father that his destiny is not at his father's company because he has a greater purpose. To find the sword and control his powers, in order to stop an explosion from destroying New York and/or the world. Hiro's father is dismayed at this news and says maybe Hiro needs a higher position than the low level one he works at the company. Hiro's dad says he will make him a top executive in line to take his CEO spot once he leaves. Hiro's sister is also present and part of Hiro's dad's business. She explains to Hiro alone that their father is too proud to explain to Hiro that people are looking down upon his company because Hiro's dad can't control his own son as an employee. Hiro's sister walks away. Ando tells Hiro maybe he should listen and go help because his family and the company need him. Ando says "your sister is a smart one', and Hiro gets an idea. He goes over and gets in an argument in front of his dad with his sister. Hiro proposes some crazy ideas on how to turn the company around by laying off many employees. Hiro's sister suggests more intelligent ways to help the business prosper. Hiro smiles and tells his father that the sister deserves that spot in the company not him. Hiro says he must fulfill his destiny.

Isaac is at his apartment when Simone visits. Simone says she can't find Peter and asks Isaac if he can help via paintings he has done recently. Isaac says he has been trying but doesnt see Peter or anything in the paintings. Simone says to let her know if he finds anything. Simone also returns the key she had to Isaac's apartment saying she doesnt need them. Later Simone returns to see a painting Isaac did which shows them together up on the rooftop in each other's arms. Simone goes up to the rooftop, where she and Isaac re-connect, mimicking the painting. Simone tells Isaac he can do something with his talent for painting the future and do something to stop it. Isaac agrees as they share a hug in each other's arms.

Claude and Peter are invisible and on the roof observing Isaac with Simone. Peter is visibly angered and frustrated. Claude says he is sorry but Peter had to see it, Peter says he is not sorry and wanted him to feel angry. Claude then tells Peter it's time for another test to use his powers and to clear his mind. Claude throws Peter off the rooftop. Peter falls the full 30 stories onto the hood of a car. Luckily, Peter manages to regenerate somehow based on Claire's powers he encountered. Peter then sees Claude laughing saying "well I didnt expect you to pass the test this way". Peter grabs Claude angrily saying he could have killed him if he didn't regenerate. Claude said it forced Peter to clear his head of everything. Peter then said he realized he had a image of Claire enter his mind right before it happened. Peter said thats what it must be, if he remembers how the person with a power made him feel, he gets that ability. Just then Peter starts to go into self-destruct mode as he begins remembering all his strange encounters with others like him. He starts glowing saying "its happening" and Claude punches Peter, knocking him down, and preventing Peter from exploding. Towards the end of the show, we see Isaac back in his apartment on the phone explaining he has not been able to locate Peter yet. Isaac explains he keeps drawing pictures with nobody on them and asks what that means. HRG is seen talking on the other end of the phone and says it means an "old friend is not as dead as they thought".

Niki meanwhile is still in prison, but is meeting with the shrink from before. The shrink has a metronome on the table and tells Niki to focus on it so that she can get to Jessica to help her find a happy medium between the 2 personalities. Niki warns her that if Jessica comes out the chains aren't enough to stop her. The psychiatrist explains the chains on Niki are enough to keep an elephant locked down and shows Niki a Tazer gun on the table. Niki eventually turns angry in talking to the shrink and becomes Jessica, breaking out of her chains. The shrink goes to grab the stun gun, but Niki/Jessica grabs her arm. Next scene shown is guards coming after Niki and the shrink laying on the ground in the meeting room, with stun gun wounds all over her. The guard knocks out Niki and brings her back to her cell. Later, two guards come to Niki's cell with an attorney of some sort, most likely from Linderman's team. The man explains she has been freed of all charges and can leave now. The man tosses her some clothes to wear and tells her to change. Niki says no she needs to stay here where she is safe. The man says its not up to her. Niki asks about Linderman and the man says not to worry about that now. Later at home, Micah comes in to Niki's room and asks to play Scrabble with her. The mysterious symbol that has been seen on many heroes' backs and the sword Hiro is after, is seen on Niki's left shoulder. Niki is near her closet mirror door. She closes the door and the mirror image is different, it is of Niki trapped in the mirror. Niki bangs on the mirror saying to let her out and Jessica tells her "you wanted to be locked up so here you go". Jessica turns in an evil manner and exits with Niki still trapped in the mirror.

Meanwhile Claire and Zach ditch school in hopes of Claire meeting up with her real mom. They lie to Claire's guardian mother and tell her they need to go to an aquarium to see Manatees. Eventually Claire's mom gives in but tells them to be back for supper. Claire and Zach travel out and Claire finally meets her real mom, Sarah. Claire explains about why she thinks she survived the explosion. Claire takes a kitchen knife and slices it across her wrist, drawing blood, then allows the wound to heal right in front of her mom's eyes. Claire's mom says they are such a special family, then holds her hand out and a flame rises up. Claire is surprised by this in a pleasant way. Claire also asks if she can meet her real father. Claire's mother explains it is complicated, but she will work on it for next time.

HRG is meanwhile in the cell with Sylar, who is confronting him now. Sylar uses his powers of telekinesis and throws HRG across the room into the glass window. HRG slams to the ground and falls with his glasses falling off. Sylar takes his wallet. Sylar exits the cell and makes the door shut behind him, locking HRG in. HRG is then trapped as Sylar holds up HRG's driver's license to the window, implying he is going to visit HRG's home and Claire. HRG screams in frustration and anger as Sylar leaves.

Sylar shows up at Claire's home dressed as an employee of HRG's paper company. Mrs. Bennett comes home to find Sylar, who startles her as he is holding the dog. He explains he was sent to deliver an order home by HRG. Mrs. Bennett believes him and offers him to stay for supper. Sylar asks alot of questions about Claire, causing Mrs Bennett to get suspicious. She says she needs to call Mr. Bennett to make sure. Just then Sylar moves a finger, causing the phone to fly from her hand and crash to pieces. She is horrified and goes to run, but Sylar uses his power and throws her into a glass bookcase knocking her down. Sylar walks towards her and prepares to kill her. Just then the door busts open in the hallway. HRG is there with gun in hand, with Haitian. HRG blasts several shots into Sylar sending him back against the refrigerator. Sylar takes off, not to be seen again. Mrs. Bennett starts asking alot of questions, but HRG tells her not to worry and that the man with him will help her forget. HRG takes Mrs. Bennett's hands as Haitian puts his hand over her head.

Later Claire returns home and Mrs .Bennett confronts her saying her school called saying Claire skipped. Mrs. Bennett says she is upset. Claire asks her mom why she forgot what she told her earlier about the visit to the aquarium to see Manatees. Mrs. Bennett says she would've remembered something like that, but then holds her head. Claire says she will set the table and tells her mom to go rest a bit before dinner. Claire is puzzled as is Zach.

Finally, Claire's real mother is seen on the phone and contacts Claire's real father. She explains that their daughter just found her and that she needs to see him. The man on the other end of the phone is shown, and it is revealed to be none other than Nathan Petrelli, with a look of shock and surprise on his face.

Season 1: Episode 13 - "The Fix"

Here is a summary of some of the major happenings on the latest episode of Heroes, by characters..

Claire is still struggling with her identity and the life she's been living. Claire and her friend Zach attempt to research who Claire's real parents/mother area. Claire summons the Haitian by hanging wind chimes outside of her window, saying thats what he said to use if she had an emergency. Claire asks Haitian if he knows who her real parents are. Haitian tells her that her father he knows nothing about, but her mother died in an explosion. Haitian said HRG told him that and had no reason to lie. Claire says shes living such a lie. Haitian asks if she wants her memory erased and Claire says no. Claire and Zach do further research and discover that a woman named Meredith Gordon and her daughter of 18 months died in a explosion. Claire realizes she is the 18month old who didn't die. Claire begins to make phone calls, while trying to keep HRG off her case. Finally, Claire gets through with a phone call to Meredith and they realize on the phone they are mother and daughter. Meredith is seen lighting a cigarette just by the use of her fingers, as a flame shoots up to the cig.

Hiro and Ando are seen walking in a parking lot. Ando tries to get their car back from the parking attendant, who says its $48 for 1 day of parking. Hiro tries to freeze/change time but his power seems out of his control and he is unable to. Ando ends up paying. Hiro is wearing the fake sword he took from the museum on his back. A man with a gun is seen near their car. The two begin running, and hiding form them as another van comes screeching around the corner after them. Eventually, Ando is grabbed by the men as Hiro tries to flee. Hiro sees this and tells the men "I'm the special man, take me in exchange". The men take both Hiro and Ando. One of the man sits in the back of the van and says the guy he works for wants Hiro to stop the mission he's on. Hiro tells the man he will not surrender. The man offers them first class tickets on a flight back home to their country, but Hiro is not tempted. Hiro tells Ando he will never abandon his friend. Eventually they pull up to a lot, and the important man/boss walks up to the van. The door opens and Hiro sees the man and says "father?".

Niki/Jessica is still confined in prison in a special padded cell. She finally meets with a psychiatrist who tells her she wants to help but needs to talk to Niki. Jessica asks for more meds because she says Niki will be a problem without. The psychiatrist says she is ok with that. Meanwhile DL struggles with raising oMicah by himself. DL phases/walks through the prison cell walls to visit Niki in her cell. He tells her he needs her and has to find a way to get her out. Niki tells DL she will be there for a long time and really needs him to take care of their son. Out and about, Micah uses his power with electronics to walk up to an ATM and take loads of bills home to his father. He shows his dad the bills and confesses that he has a power too.

Sylar is still in captivity and HRG discusses with the main doctor to keep bringing him back and back to life despite all the meds they are pumping Sylar with. HRG says the job is to keep Sylar alive no matter what. At one point HRG gets a call at home from the doctor who says Sylar has finally died despite all efforts. HRG is disappointed but tells him to prepare Sylar for storage/transport. As the doctor is taking the restraints off Sylar, suddenly Sylar's eyes open wide with life. HRG later goes to the paper plant/cell and sees a table with a white cloth over it. HRG walks into the cell and removes the cloth to see its not Sylar laying there, but the dead doctor. Just then he turns to see Sylar standing in the cell with him. HRG is shocked as Sylar asks "how's Claire?"

Peter is still interacting with Claude, the invisible man he found in New York. Peter informs the man he can do whatever he does. Claude says "oh one of those?" Peter realizes that this man is the key to controlling the powers they have. He asks for his help but the man is hesitant at first. He tells Peter he doesnt want him around and not to follow him. Peter insists that if he doesnt help him the whole city is going to blow up and people will die.

Nathan goes to meet with Mohinder, he apologizes for before and tells him they need to find Peter because something bad might happen. Mohinder says it is true that Peter adapts or takes whatever powers he's around. Mohinder says it can be dangerous if Peter overloads on powers/abilities. Nathan says then he will find him. Mohinder says if he can study Peter, he can help and possibly mutate the genes to cure or "fix" him. Mohinder and Nathan leave together to go find Peter. They later arrive at Peter's apartment to find him. Nathan confronts Peter and says he wants to help. Peter is upset and asks if Nathan thinks he can just fix everything? Nathan says Mohinder can help study him and fix the problems he's having. Nathan convinces Peter to sit and talk. Just then Peter bolts out the door. Nathan and Mohinder chase out the hall to see an open window, assuming Peter flew off. Next, Peter is seen with the invisible man, Claude, who's holding his hand over Peter's mouth. Claude has agreed to help Peter out, because he isn't a "people person" but doesnt want to see alot of people die.

Matt Parkman meanwhile faces a review hearing for his recent botching of the raid on HRG's paper plant. The 3 officers confront Matt about his statement involving super-powered serial killers and "aliens". Matt reads the thoughts of one who just wants him to keep the statement so they can call him crazy. Matt says he wants to recant the statement and that he made it up to be a hero and make detective. The 3 officers decide Matt is suspended for 6 months and ask for his badge and gun. Back home, Matt's wife who knows of his power now, is supportive of him and tells Matt she's pregnant. Matt is excited at the news.
